A Journey of Resilience, Love, and Rediscovery
My Story of Life's Unseen Blessings

Hello, everyone! How have you been?
As I have said in my profile, my name is Adriana, and today, I would like to share a bit of my story with you. I'm 49 years old, married, without children, and I hold degrees in cosmetology and business administration. I've always worked in the administrative field, and I truly enjoy what I do. In the field of cosmetology, I'm discovering a new side of myself! I love the beauty industry, and being a cosmetologist allows me to share some of what I've learned and perhaps brighten someone's day or help them improve their well-being. I enjoy reading, traveling, exploring new places and meeting new people. I especially love watching the sunrise and sunset, walking on the beach while listening to the sound of the waves, and I have a deep love for animals and children—they are our greatest teachers!
I grew up in a family of nine, with seven siblings, my father, and my mother (who are no longer with us). Thanks to God, we received a good upbringing, grounded in family values, respect for others, and respect for everything around us. I've always wanted to write a blog but kept postponing this dream, always prioritizing other tasks and responsibilities. Now, I believe the time has come. As with everything in life, timing is essential, and I think my time has finally arrived, lolo
I am Brazilian, but I have been living in the United States for nine years. It's been an incredible experience of freedom, strength, resilience, and knowledge that I never imagined I would have. I never thought I would leave my country to live in another, and I never imagined experiencing so much. I thank God for every minute of my day and every moment I live. And before you ask why I don't have children, the truth is, I always had to work; I started at 17 and always helped at home... those things everyone from my generation knows! lolo, we discovered that life isn't easy, and if you want to eat, you have to work! I let life take its course and never really stopped to think if I truly wanted to be a mother, considering I had to support myself and didn't want to be a single mother without a father's presence to share the love, education, and values that I learned. I want to make it clear that I greatly admire single mothers because I know it's not an easy path, but one that is certainly worth it! I believe everything in life has a purpose, and we only understand it much later. So, I leave it in God's hands, as He knows all things and what is best for each of us!
I met my husband as soon as I arrived in the United States, and it was a blessing from God. He is an incredible man who has made and continues to make a significant difference in my life. I often say that I came here just to meet him, lolo. Destiny? Life's coincidences? I don't know! All I know is that he has become the best part of me, and I thank God every day for that. Together, we have discovered how flawed we are and how much better we can be. We've learned that life is better when you have someone to grow with, to support each other in every moment. He also doesn't have children, and we are discovering new things about ourselves every day.
I decided to write this blog because I feel a desire to share my story and learn about others. After all, we learn something new every day, and every day we teach something as well. We are human beings with infinite possibilities, and as long as we're alive, every day is a new beginning. A beginning to do better than yesterday, to be better than ourselves, and, most importantly, to be happy!
Getting back to reading, I would like to share some of the books I've read and loved, which I would highly recommend. These are books that bring inspiration to life and moments when we need to reflect on what we want and who we are as human beings:
- The 48 Laws of Power - (Audiobook) is a compelling guide to understanding and mastering the dynamics of power, influence, and strategy in all aspects of life. or paperback here.

I would also like to share that I am beginning my journey as a children's book author. Despite not having children, I firmly believe that children are the future of the world! We must guide them with the values we grew up with and that we hope they will follow to make the world a better place by spreading kindness. I would be thrilled if you bought my book for your child, and please share it with your family and friends. I'm sure there's a child in your family who would be happier with one of my books! They'll learn while having fun!

That's it for today. I wanted to share a little bit about myself and let you know that I'll always be sharing something because I believe that sharing stories, experiences, and lessons brings us great learning. We see how blessed we are, how much we have to learn, and how much we can teach. Please share your story with me as well—I'd love to hear about you, exchange experiences, and have a chat. Sometimes that's all we need!
Wishing you a bright day and a blessed week ahead!
