Living with Dermatillomania
In sixth grade, I started to develop acne. Luckily in school, I was never bullied for the stray white head, but at home, my mother relentlessly picked on me for my physical, and mental, imperfections. And that bullying from my mother became the insecurities I have today, the gap between my teeth, my intelligence, and, most of all, my skin.

My Fancy Skin Stuff
Welcome all! I’m Alana, and I want to share with you my fancy skin stuff that I should do more often—but I’m way too lazy. I love masks, oils, serums, and my most recent obsession; my jade roller. I'm not going to talk about all the masks I’ve ever used or what didn’t work for me. I just want to share what I like at the moment and what it does for me. I have normal to dry skin, and in Alaska the air is so dry! These are a few products I use outside of my daily face routine. So they are fancy... right?

The X Factor—This Is How You Can Be More Charismatic and Influential?
One of the things that we got to face up to is that the more charismatic a person is, then that person tends to have more influence. But have you ever thought about what makes a person charismatic? Could it be their career? Could it be their upbringing? Or could it be their money? Nope, most studies underscore the fact that it is likely that you are more impressed with the way they look. This does not imply that you are shallow, but genetically, you are primarily hardwired to react in a certain way to someone who looks good.

8 Amazing Tips to Protect and Preserve Aging Skin
We all want to stay active, look young, and prolong aging as much as we can. It is not very difficult to fight against the signs of aging if you follow a proper skin care routine, and maintain a healthy lifestyle. The kind of skin care routine that you should follow will depend on your lifestyle, and also the weather or season. 5 Steps to Make Your Skin Glow in Summer
Summers are all about fun, family, and tanning on the beach. But, summers also affect your skin. Prolonged sun exposure can cause dullness, and age spots on your skin. How I Cured My Acne
Dealing with acne was one of the most draining experiences of my life. Through my whole teenage years, I never suffered with bad skin (well, maybe the occasional spot and blackhead), however, during the summer of 2018 I flew to New York. Due to never taking care of my skin, and having my only ‘skin care routine’ be taking my makeup off with a wipe, and splashing water over my face, I went onto this flight with absolutely no idea of what was to come. Wearing a full face of foundation, concealer and powder on an eight-hour flight is apparently not the best idea…

Mario Badescu Enzyme Cleansing Gel Review
I've been using this cleansing gel from Mario Badescu ever since I got it as a gift in my stocking for Christmas a couple years ago. It's a best-seller on the Mario Badescu website, and for very good reasons! For way too long I had been wondering why my problem skin was not clearing up, and why my skin always seemed irritated, even though I was washing my face daily. As it turns out, I didn't know that my over-exfoliating was causing the problem. Since I was using an exfoliating wash everyday, instead of just a few times per week, my skin wasn't really improving like I wanted it to. I very quickly realized that I needed to get a face wash that would be gentle on my skin for everyday use, and my mom bought this cleansing gel for me on a whim. I've never been happier with a product than I have been with this one!
