The Need to Know About Tattoos
In this day and age, we all know someone who has a tattoo or a lot of them. I myself fall into the category of having many of them. Over the years, I have sat in the comfy black chair and allowed someone to stab my skin with colorful inked needles for hours on end. What I would like to share today is all the wonderful new things about tattoos, how far they have come in society, and how to tell if the person putting that permanent tattoo on you is right for you.

The Picture That Spoke a Few Thousand Characters
Meaningless notifications from the Linkedin app led me to my girlfriends profile; A beautiful black woman. After 10 seconds of scrolling the news feed, then 20 seconds of adding random people with cool pics, and titles, I see her. I had never seen this picture, and I was filled with a weird anxious feeling. I get like this whenever she posts pictures on Social Media, which is rare. Her popping up on my feed, is like an Easter Egg in a Marvel movie, or actually seeing a unicorn walk down the street. Its always a rare sighting, and I'm always freaked out for some reason. I texted her to tell her how beautiful the picture was, and how I felt seeing it, and then some more compliments; that I hope she enjoyed as well. I closed the apps, and went back to listening to The Book of Five Rings by Miyamoto Musashi on YouTube.

What to Really Expect When You're Getting a Bigger Tattoo
Probably the most frequent and annoying question tattooed people get is "Does it hurt?" or something in that sense. People just love to know if the needle punching through your skin for (sometimes) hours hurts! This won't be one of those thousands and thousands of articles complaining about this and saying that yes, getting tattooed does hurt. I want to talk about something not many people talk about.

How to Actually Care for Your New Piercings
Disclaimer: I am not a certified piercer, however I feel my experience as someone who's been stabbed with the needle enough is valuable... Somewhat. As of writing this, I've had 8 piercings over the past few years. All but 1 are still lodged in various places. I've had the usual useless dangly bits done; both earlobes, 2 oral piercings with different jewelry each time, cartilage, eyebrow, and one through the nipple. I feel like I'm well-versed enough to give my own personal insight.

Body Enhancement
Body ornamentation and modification is older than humankind. We were not the first to use it. So far, Neanderthals are the first that we know of. They used shell beads and feathers for self-decoration. When this may have started is controversial, but Neanderthals were around for at least 400,000 years. These discoveries carry very strong implications. One must have the consciousness of self. There is no need to enhance oneself unless you are self-conscious. Having an inward view is one of those prerequisites for being human, but Neanderthal had it. Early body enhancement was most likely used to differentiate among people. The more extensive reserved for the head of the group, certain marks to delineate a pair-bonded female, a little something for the healer and so on. Once body decoration began, it never stopped. You would be hard put to find a person today who does not wear make-up, has pierced ears, wears an attractive watch, has facial hair, or some form of decoration.

My First Brazilian Wax
So several years ago I had finally gotten the nerve up to try and get a Brazilian wax. I had been hearing about getting waxed for a while now from several girlfriends of mine. So after some research and saved a little money off to the side, I was ready. I asked for the name and phone number of the place that one of my girlfriends went. I thought that since she went all the time, and was dating one of my roommates, that she would be a good person to ask. She gave me the phone number and I called to set my appointment.

5 Cosmetic Procedures That Can Boost Your Sex Appeal
As a rule of thumb, let me say that the most important thing when it comes to one's persona lies in being comfortable in your own skin. Whether that means staying "all-natural" until the end of your days or indulging in the occasional cosmetic touch-up is ultimately up to you and you alone. But as far as I'm concerned, a body is a malleable thing.
