10 Ways to Have Great Skin
I love the unstoppable feeling I have when my skin looks great. But over the years, I haven’t had such great luck with pretty skin. I’ve had acne since I was in elementary school, and my skin has always been super sensitive, so I turn splotchy and red easily. Over the past few years, I’ve figured out the best ways to take care of my skin, and it’s improved dramatically!

Women of Color in the Beauty Industry
When Fenty Beauty dropped in September of 2017 during New York Fashion Week, I recall the buzz on my social media. From the girls with dark chocolate skin, to girls with porcelain skin like myself, they were itching to get their hands on the “Bad Girl’s” complexion products. Walking into any Sephora that month, you’d see darker-skinned girls picking out their shade, grins lighting up their faces, finally seeing their shade in mainstream makeup lines. Skincare
Skincare is a term that may scare some people as they see it as a long, drawn out process that must be strictly followed day and night, no ifs, ands or buts; however that is the farthest thing from the truth. Now, depending on your skin type, you may need varying products but overall, skincare is something that should be enjoyable as you're essentially preserving your skin and protecting it. Once you start doing these three simple steps you'll instantly be seeing a change in the way your skin looks and feels.

My Hair Journey
Growing up in a household amongst two boys and two girls, you can only imagine how hard it was for my mum. Especially the fact she was basically on her own for the best... and worst parts of our upbringing. Now let's not get it twisted! Fortunately for us we did get to see our dad on a weekly basis and still to this day have a great relationship with him. He did his best to support us as a family and he did a great job at that. We all turned out... ok! 😃

My Unhealthy Relationship with Makeup (And How I Fixed It)
Let me start by asking, what is makeup? Makeup is a form of art, a way for us to express ourselves. It makes you feel something. It's symbolic in many ways. It symbolizes freedom of expression, no matter what your gender, race, sexuality, age, or religion is. It can be a passion, it can be a hobby and it can be a career. It makes people happy. Sadly, I forgot all that for a while.
