No Poo!
A year ago, I quit shampoo. Why was I stripping my hair just to put moisture back in it? Why didn't I leave it alone in the first place? I know what you're thinking, GROSS. I thought so at first! Using conventional shampoos aren’t the only way to get your hair clean, and it shouldn’t be your first choice. There are several methods of no-poo: apple cider vinegar, baking soda, hot water, and more. These are the 3 methods that first come to mind when I think of no-poo, but I have heard of more.

Body Enhancement
Body ornamentation and modification is older than humankind. We were not the first to use it. So far, Neanderthals are the first that we know of. They used shell beads and feathers for self-decoration. When this may have started is controversial, but Neanderthals were around for at least 400,000 years. These discoveries carry very strong implications. One must have the consciousness of self. There is no need to enhance oneself unless you are self-conscious. Having an inward view is one of those prerequisites for being human, but Neanderthal had it. Early body enhancement was most likely used to differentiate among people. The more extensive reserved for the head of the group, certain marks to delineate a pair-bonded female, a little something for the healer and so on. Once body decoration began, it never stopped. You would be hard put to find a person today who does not wear make-up, has pierced ears, wears an attractive watch, has facial hair, or some form of decoration.

Suffering and Coping with Acne
Eighty percent of people have acne outbreaks at least once in their life. Unfortunately, some of us are not as lucky when it comes to the acne clearing up. I have suffered with acne since I was very young and had people constantly telling me it's because you don't wash your face enough. I wash my face every morning and every night, still people jump to the conclusion that I barely wash my face. In a way, washing your face does help as it balances out your skin and can prevent some spots coming up, I would recommend you find a wash and scrub that suits your skin type don't go along with what beauty YouTubers say they use, yes it might work for them but doesn't mean it will work for you, everyone's skin is different.

Best Petrolatum-Free Lip Balms
Nothing beats organic lip balms to give you the right vitamins and minerals into your lips. While there are so many different types and flavors of lip balms out there, just which ones are natural? In fact, there are so many ways to moisturize our lips, from coconut oil to castor, do we really need the mineral jelly in our balms? Petrolatum in lip balms is the base of the balm, which is usually a jelly that lubricates. But there are definitely better and more natural ways to hydrate our lips.

Complexion Hits and Misses
Lemme start with saying PLS IF YOU HAVE NOT TRIED OUT THIS FOUNDATION YET, GO AND GET A SAMPLE!!!! Personally, Giorgio Armani’s luminous silk is definitely a holy grail in my books. It’s quite hard to explain, because it's luminous and glowy but still holds up all day and can be built to the fullest coverage or sheered down. Either way, it feels like you have absolutely nothing on your face, which is a major deal for me. Personally, I hate being able to “feel” my foundation on. I would say that luminous silk is good for all skin types, especially if your skin's dry and crusty like mine. If you have oily skin, I would use a primer and keep a compact to touch up throughout the day. It may sound annoying, but once you get this foundation on your face, touching up will see almost worth it. I personally don’t usually ever go for a full coverage look regardless of the day. I enjoy being able to see some of my skin peek through my foundation so I only use one pump of this foundation and in my opinion, I think one pump is perfect at just evening out your complexion. I’m not gonna lie, the foundation is a little on the pricier side, going for about $70 depending on where you live, but a little does go an extremely long way! I’ve had mine for about four months now and I still have half a bottle after testing and using it every day. Definitely a holy grail, and if you have the budget/ want to treat yourself, I would highly recommend!
