Things to Know Before Getting a Tattoo
We've all heard the horror stories: I didn't get what I wanted; the portrait looks nothing like my grandma; there's a spelling error in the quote; I passed out; it cost a fortune... Getting a tattoo can be scary, especially when you don't know what to expect. Anyone who has seen me since my freshman year of college knows I'm inked up. It took a lot of time and courage for me to get my first piece done, and it could not have gone better. Now I've got ink all over my body. Here are some tips, from a somewhat expert to all the novices, because I wish this article had been around when I was looking to get my first tattoo...

Natural Eyeshadow Palettes That Work with Every Skin Tone
Most of the time, over-the-top eye makeup looks garner a lot more bad attention than they do good. Whether men are painfully aware of the amount of makeup you put on, or your girlfriends are looking at you with wide eyes and a practiced, forced smile, you don't want to be wondering if you should have gone for a nude look while you're being handed your fifth vodka cranberry. Then the next day when you have to go to work (or class), those glitter eyeshadows that actually stay put seem a little frivolous, don't they? Going with natural eyeshadow palettes is a safer bet in most instances, and less is almost definitely more when it comes to a natural look. With so many options, though, how do you choose which one will look best?

Makeup Primers That'll Give You an All Day Look. Top Story - November 2018.
Makeup primers are one of the most essential steps in your makeup routine. If you don’t use a foundation primer, your makeup is more likely to look cakey, show imperfections, and wear off easily, because a face primer is what sets your makeup and allows it to have that matte finish that we all strive for. Each primer has different effects that can color correct, reduce fine lines, and give a natural, oil free glow. Sephora is going to be your ultimate stop to find the best correcting primers on the market for that all day look you’re going for. You don’t need to be a makeup artist to get beautiful skin, or the perfect look you desire.

Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie
If you have curly hair, you know the struggle to find products for your hair type. No one ever told me what to look for in hair products so I neglected to wear my hair out curly for most of my middle and high school career. Instead I burned it with a flat iron. It wasn't until the end of my sophomore year in high school I decided to stop flat ironing my hair and finally learn how to take care of my hair. I watched endless YouTube videos to learn every little detail about curly hair. Now I know the type of products to look for when shopping in the store.

My Favorite Hair Hacks and Products
I don't know about you, but I love my hair. But it took me awhile to get to loving it! My hair is curly, but not like those beautiful natural curls you can tame and work with, no. My curls are random waves and random straight strands of hair and so on. It's a mess if I don't take care of it. My hair comes down to my waist, and it's thick, and frizzy! Everyone's hair is different, but I hope now knowing what my hair is like, it will help you in deciding what works best for you!
