Pretty Nails
Hi! Today I will share the experience I had with wearing acrylic nails. I first started doing my nails when I was young; I remember experimenting with different colours when I was about 13 years old. I never really wore them all the time, but I used them whenever I felt like painting nail polish could match your clothes and make you think beautiful. There are different ranges of colours to choose from, such as blue, pink, purple, green, and yellow. My all-time favourite nail polish would be purple because purple is my favourite colour. Other colours I use other than purple would be pink, But I usually go for purple, not dark purple, but light purple, like a lavender colour. As I grew older and went into college, painting nails was my go thing to do. I would experiment with different colours, but this time I wanted to try something different. So I went ahead and painted my nails with designs like white and red dots. I remember going to school that day and getting compliments on them. I enjoy painting my nails; I think it's an enjoyable thing to do. As for painting your nails, sometimes it can be pretty tiring. Doing them yourself all the time, I remember doing them for the first time and messing up, and it would get everywhere on the side of my nail. Yeah, not fun at all. I would have to remove them with nail polish remover. Also, sometimes nail polish doesn't stay on for that long. It depends on what brand you are using. Whenever I paint my nails, I use two coats of nail polish; then, I add a clear coat to finish. It usually lasts two weeks, then it starts to fade off, which is annoying sometimes, but as I said, it depends on what brands you use. Now in the present day, as much as I like painting my nails myself, I am more recently into getting them done professionally in a salon. Whenever I go to the salon, I get Acrylic nails, which look so cute. The first time I got Acrylic nails were in 2022. That was the first time I ever got Acrylic nails; I usually go to the salons to get my natural nails painted. Still, I wanted a change, so I went ahead and got Acrylic nails this time. I went to the salon near my house when I first got them done. It's called crazy nails salon. I made an appointment with them the day before, and they filled me in for the next day. I was going on a trip to Niagara falls that weekend, so I wanted my nails to get done and look nice. So I went to the appointment the next day and walked into the salon. They didn't let me wait for that long, then told me to choose a colour. So this time, I remember I went for reddish pink. So I decided on the colour, picked it up and sat at one of the salon chairs, waiting for the lady to do my nails. She asked what nail shape I wanted, and I told her square-shaped nails. I thought they looked pretty. So she went ahead and did them. She finished filling the nails and all that put on the Acrylic nails. She shaped them square and filed them again. After doing the process, she finally painted them. She then put my hands into this drying device, which dries pretty quickly. The whole process was new, so I just went with the flow. Otherwise, in the end, it had a nice finishing look. My nails came out great. After a few weeks, the nails started to chip off, and I was not looking forward to that. I usually get shellac colours, so it doesn't normally chip. But then again, I could always get them done again.
