Hair is a defining feature of human appearance. Playing a significant role in cultural, social, and personal identity. Composed primarily of keratin, hair serves both aesthetics and fictional purposes. It provides insulation, protection, and can be a medium for self-expression, reflecting trends, traditions, and individual preferences. Throughout history, hairstyles have evolved, symbolizing everything from status and beauty to rebellion and freedom whether straight, curly, long or short, hair is deeply intertwined with how we present ourselves to the world.

However your hair is, your hair speaks a lot about you. It plays a vital role in your beauty by enhancing beauty standards. However, your hair is, long, short, wavy, curly, or straight the important thing is “is your hair healthy or not”. Well maintained and healthy hair leaves a good impression about you. So, you must take care of your health.

How to take care of your hair?

  • Know your hair porosity: Well, to take care of your hair your first step would be knowing your hair “Porosity”. Knowing hair porosity is very important. There are three levels of hair porosity.

1.High porosity hair: High porosity hair refers to hair that easily absorbs and loses moisture due to gaps and holes in the cuticle layer.

Issues: Week strands, breakage, split ends, and frizz.

2.Medium porosity hair and: In the case of medium porosity hair, they are halfway open, which means that moisture can reach inside the hair shaft quite easily. But at the same type it is not lost too quickly.

Issues: Change its porosity into high, become dry and brittle. Starts losing its bounciness, softness and shine.

3.Low porosity hair: Low porosity hair is hair that doesn't readily absorb water and treatments. It takes a long time to wet and dry, this makes hair care treatments less effective.

Issues: Dry and frizzy especially at the end.

By understanding your hair porosity level, you can tailor your hair care routine to address its specific needs. So, you must know your hair porosity.

  • Avoid chemical products: Products that contain chemical substance it harmful for your hair. Can cause hair fall, frizzy hair, breakage and split ends.

  • Massage your scalp: Massaging your scalp helps you to promote new hair growth, improves blood circulation, exfoliates flaky scalp. Massage with your bare hand better with jade massager or silicon massager. Massage during shampoo or after applying hair oil.

  • Use DIY hair pack: DIY hair packs are way better than chemical products. They help to make your hair stronger, longer, smoother, softer and many more. Apply hair packs according to your problem.

  • Use Derma Roller: if you are facing hair fall problem then derma roller would be a good choice for you. Derma roller has small needles in it; that improves blood, helps to absorb hair products, boost collagen production, boost oxygen to the roots, improves scalp health, stimulates hair follicles. use derma roller once a week or twice a week

  • Deep oil your scalp: deep oiling your scalp at least once a week can help to grow new hair, improves hair texture. Apply oil at nighttime; it is better if you use lukewarm oil. Wash your hair the next day.

  • Use silk: silk fabric helps to keep your hair beautiful. Use silk pillowcase and silk hair ties instead of regular pillowcase and regular hair ties. Regular fabrics make your hair frizzy and harsh, on the other hand silk fabrics help to keep your hair smooth and soft.

  • Use hair sprays: rosemary spray, rice water spray, onion peel spray; these sprays are very well known for improving hair growth, making your hair longer and stronger. You can make them at home without any cost because the ingredients are always in your kitchen and very easy to prepare.

  • Comb your hair: hair combing twice in a day is must. And the benefit is none other than improving blood circulation that helps hair growth.
