Acne occurs when your body produces too much oil. This can happen if you are overweight or have oily skin. Your body makes extra sebum (oil) to protect your skin from bacteria that live on your skin. When your body doesn't need this extra oil, it gets stored in your glands. These glands then release the excess oil into your pores.

Acne usually starts out as whiteheads or blackheads. Whiteheads are small bumps filled with clear fluid. Blackheads are larger than whiteheads and contain black material. Both types of blemishes appear on your face, back, chest, shoulders, neck, arms, legs, and buttocks.

You may get acne at any age. But it's most common between ages 10 and 20.

There are many different kinds of acne. Some people only get pimples while others get both pimples and cysts.

Acne can last for years. But it usually goes away after puberty.

1. Lemon Juice

Coconut oil has been used for thousands of years due to its many health benefits. This includes acne treatment since it contains lauric acid that helps reduce inflammation and prevent bacteria from forming. In addition, coconut oil can help moisturize your skin and keep it soft and supple.

Drinking water is essential to keeping your body hydrated. When you are dehydrated, your body produces more oil than usual, causing clogged pores and acne breakouts. Make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day to avoid this problem.
