'You Should See Me in a Crown' by Billie Eilish
On Wednesday, July 18, 2018, American teenage singer Billie Eilish released a song titled “You Should See Me in a Crown.” The song was first teased by Billie back in June. The song’s artwork was also leaked two days before the sudden drop of the song. The cover art features a crown and spiders, which is a recurrent theme on Billie’s instagram. This song offers a very different sound compared to the rest of her music. “You Should See Me in a Crown” has a heavy beat mostly offering bass throughout the choruses. The song starts out light with very little instrumental like we are used to with her music, but as soon as the chorus starts we are switched to a new style from Billie. The transition from the heavy chorus to lighter verses are executed very well and help the song tell a story, which aids in defining the meaning of the song.

"God is a Woman" is Grande's third single from Grande's fourth album Sweetener, and despite its religious title, the song goes into depth about Grande's temptations and desire for her lover being so strong that after a sexual encounter the lover will believe that God is actually a woman. Grande sets the scene with lyrics like, "My one, it lingers when it's done, you'll believe God is a woman."

This is a little late this week, but it's here nonetheless! Here are some gems from last week in Korean music! Remember a few weeks ago when Teen Top had a comeback and I was over the moon excited? That's how I was when I received a YouTube notification of this gem. C.A.P is a slower rapper than a lot of rappers in the industry, but it really works for him. I always found it charming. This track allows his voice and talent to shine. The track is almost cosmic, soothing like looking at the night sky without light pollution. As a long-time fan, I'm definitely proud of how wonderful this song is.
