Half Assed Hallows Eve
Graveyard Smash seems at first blush what hoops players refer to a lay in equaling, a gimme. Any idiot can figure somebody here recalls Monster Mash Party; it makes a good launching point. I personally liked the theme music to a certain kiddie show who's initials were H. R. P., as in " Who'll be there when things get tough " and can't get a little if ya' can't get enough...or something. I like Jane Pauley's husband's fictional quote of Robert Zimmerman which said " I just want to make it rhyme, man " .

A Graveyard Smash
A Graveyard Smash , is taken from Bobby “Boris” Pickett and the Crypt Kickers 1962 Hit “Monster Mash” , more Abbott and Costello than Bela Lugosi. So here is mine, I hope there will be nothing too obvious in here , so this is unlikely to be a winner as no Halloween DJ will have heard of any of these artists (well maybe) , but the records , I am not sure.

Truth - "SUMMER'S OVER"
Before the drop of his first album since December 2018, comes this amazing single “SUMMER’S OVER”. Truth is back and delivers yet another outstanding record that has his audience in awe. It’s the sequel to his 2020 hit single “The Summer” which made its way onto my Spotify playlists and into my soul this summer. The song instantly starts out with a double vocal, pop-rap verse as the beat fades in, grabbing the listener’s attention instantly. A lyric in verse #1 that really stood out to me is one that appears to be very metaphoric; “flowers might not flourish (yea), please don’t be a serpent (yea)”. Given the title “SUMMER’S OVER”, we know as the summer weather comes to a halt we tend to lose beautiful aspects such as our flowery gardens and maybe the overall warmth within our hearts. Summer is a time where most people tend to go out with family and friends to enjoy the sunshine and have fun. Most are on vacation from school or work and have all the time in the world to make life long memories. When summer break is over it’s back to work, back to school and the world of stresses reappear. This is definitely the cause of why people feel forced to turn on their serious mode and become a bit cold. That’s what I get out of the lyric above. Now onto the chorus, Truth always delivers a catchy, vibrant chorus for his listeners. In this chorus, he explains that in the moment things might be over but it’s guaranteed to return and next time he’ll seal the deal and secure his love interest’s heart. “We’ll be warm again and be more than friends” - Truth. His lyrics have really deep meaning when you look beyond the surface, although they’re usually easy and fun to sing along to. The second verse was outstanding, he starts out singing, showcasing his vocals before jumping into a super vibe to end of the verse. His rhymes are always on point and if his music was a movie, it’d for sure be a “feel-good” genre. My favorite part in this song comes at the 2:32 mark where the beat retracts then instantly starts back up and a new twist on the chorus comes thru as the outro. I absolutely love how he closed this song. Not to be biased but this has to be my new personal favorite and I’ll have it on repeat for years to come during the non-summer months.

Sensational R&B singer and songwriter Micah Willis drops a brand new R&B single titled "Forget”
Sensational R&B singer and songwriter Micah Willis drops a brand new R&B single titled "Forget. "Forget" is a moderate tempo elevating R&B track with lyrics and theme leaning towards dance and "having a good time." "Forget" is a "feel-good" song somewhat written in response to the most recent world upsets and crises - especially the COVID-19 Pandemic of 2020. According to Micah Willis, “Forget,” just as the song title suggests is about “forgetting all the terrible times we had in 2020.” Micah believes it is time everyone goes out to have fun. Instrumentally, “Forget” is rooted in very solid R&B influences as it also taps some minor [but not insignificant] elements from genres like rap, trap, soul, and blues.

25 Greatest Songs of Crystal Gayle
Crystal Gayle, born Brenda Webb in 1951, is one of country music's most successful female vocalists. Her knockout good-looks and floor length hair have garnered her significant media attention. But it is her music that made her a household name in the 1970s and 1980s.
