🔥 Resurrecting the Scene: Producer Emery and the Return of ARES aka Ghost In The Room
By: Florida Metal Scene News** For those who remember the chaotic glory of the MySpace music era—the sweaty garage shows, the torn Vans, the flaming Hot Topic belts, and the thundering breakdowns—**Producer Emery** was already a name in motion. A driven audio engineer and musician deeply embedded in both California and Florida’s underground circuits, Emery was part of a wave of bands that fueled the scene during its most raw and authentic period.

Allowed to Be. Top Story - April 2025. Content Warning.
I wrote this while feeling frustration and anger over the current state of society. I have never understood the determination of some to try to force their beliefs and opinions on others, while still claiming they support freedom and equality. I have studied several religions through my life before finding that Wicca vibes best with my personal opinions and views. Empathy has always been a very strong aspect of my inner self and something I was grateful to been so connected with.

Until I Had None Left To Give. Top Story - April 2025.
So, I already had an entry for this challenge, and would have loved to have done something using my voice, etc., but I do not really have the resources or the budget for that. My first entry was solely the lyrics and structure, with lots of information about how I would have composed it if I had the time, resources, and skills.

“The Not-So-Pleasant King” - song
A song written for the challenge and for funsies (I'm not a professional songwriter). Sound wise: think rock. Or perhaps wacky rock. There will be no video or audio attached - I've had enough embarrassment to last three eternities already (sorry). Hopefully the tone comes out in the lyrics.

Home Again
Can someone say, Taylor Swift or maybe Kelly Clarkson even Sara Bareilles? That is the feel these lyrics gave me. The truest love and pain of youth and innocence. Heartbreak on the cusp of experience, molding how and who we would love in the future.

Just A Taste
I love the playful energy that floats throughout the song I have attached (Imagine Dragon - Ragged Insomnia) ** This is the kind of beat I imagined as I wrote these lyrics. Female or male vocalist with a strong blended harmony in the chorus and bridge, and it needs a strong drum beat. The verses are breathy and follow the strum of a bass guitar with the second verse building to the drum beat in the chorus.
