Not Your Typical Horror Music
When I think about classical horror movie music the Halloween (1978) film immediately pops into my head. Other words to describe the music i'm talking about include creepy, ambient, and apprehensive; songs that give you the goosebumps. A pop cover song, or a catchy 80s song wouldn't come to mind at first. But that's the reason why I love horror; behind the blood, guts, and gore there is also comedy, romance, mystery, and of course thriller. These are not only some of my favorite songs, but they also come from some of best horror films/games that I've seen.

Lessons on Love: The Musical
2000 saw the release of En Vogue's "Riddle" from the Masterpiece Theatre album. This is one of my favorite albums. I will never forget playing this song on trips with the family, and choreographing dance moves to this song in high school.

I have a number of favourite albums, and admittedly, it took me a while to put this together, because I knew I had to have one thing my music taste sometimes lacks: variety. If you already know me, then you know I'm a big 40s, 50s, and 60s fan–but this isn't really about me personally. For example: I listen to Bob Dylan because I enjoy that kind of music, and his poetry is beautiful. However, my brother doesn't listen to Bob Dylan, because he prefers other types of music, but he doesn't doubt that Bob Dylan is quite possibly the best songwriter in history.
