I Suck The Zinc Out Of The Kinks ( Of Thailand )
Maybe I will address my ever so minute readership which someday hopefully may reach potentially the miniscule level by the term Drones today at least. It would be tacky I suppose to pick a different term with every potential submission and far be it from me to fail to step to the shallow or the absurd in order to entertain myself. What I cannot determine is why I'm doing this when there ought to be something else to occupy one's time.

Patrick Tabaks' Lost My Mind
Hailing from Latvia, 17-year-old Patrick Tabaks has been immersed in music for much of his life. At age six, Patrick began learning piano courtesy of his sister, before a more formal, classical music education helped him hone his skills as a vocalist. Under the tutelage of his teacher Valda Tracuma, he began performing at the Latvian National Opera at the age of 11, becoming known as “the boy with the golden voice.” This reputation led to duets with famous opera singers and performances in many opera productions, including Carmen and Tannhauser. Before long he had also added guitar and violin to his skill set.00 All of these early musical experiences have come in handy as Patrick launches his solo career with his debut album Lost My Mind. Patrick produced, co-produced and wrote all nine of the album’s songs, which explore subjects such as grief and question the existence of the afterlife. “And lot of the times I feel like people just don’t quite get me,” Patrick explains. “I can express myself better with music than with words or talking to other people.”

Lady Raw on the rise
What’s your name Artist Name and where are you from? My name is Ra’Seanda Brooks my pseudonym is Lady Raw I am from Savannah, Ga I was born and raised on the west side of Savannah. Growing up I listened to different genres and different styles of music but Tupac was always in my playlist. I knew I was going to become a rapper after discovering that I could in fact rap. My most defining moment was when I was 9 years old I began writing poetry. Not only did I write it I recited it as if it was a rap song it was destiny from my birth considering that my dad was a rapper growing up so it flows through my DNA and that’s why I am who I am today.

Beneath the crust of 'Bread Records'
As you may know, I love all indie music. I've made a playlist from wicked independent artists and also interviewed some of them. Today, however, we are taking a slightly different approach. We are talking to a record label. I know what you're thinking. A record label? Charlie, what on earth has gotten into you? What are you thinking? Safe to say that Bread records aren't your run of the mill record label. No, they are an independent label with a difference. Not only do they promote the few artists they have signed, but they also help promote other independent artists from the local scene in manchester. They work with promoters to book gigs and host an open mic night. So there you go, I'm let off the hook. They might be a record label, but they are featuring and supporting local artists. That is worthy of my praise. Luckily I got to catch up with Micheal Webster and ask him a few questions. He's a hard-working musician, running the label but also an artist as well. I want to thank him for answering my questions and I hope you will find his answers insightful.

The Seasons of Franklin Stone
"Franklin Stone is a rapper, singer/songwriter, and producer based out of Maryland. He was also born in Maryland, but soon moved to South Carolina to be closer to his grandmother. Growing up relatively poor, Stone spent days on a farm as well as working hard in school and learning to play the saxophone and drums, cultivating his musical talent in church. After moving back to Maryland in 2007, Stone began recording music in high school, but it was not until after college that he began releasing his music. His first release was the Swirl Pack, a two song single boasting 21 and Fruit of my Labor in 2019. As the Covid-19 pandemic forced a worldwide quarantine, Stone ramped up his production, releasing To Be Frank, Lenses, Rain Transition as singles in 2021 from his debut EP Seasons on October 8th." One Lost Moment
Coming from a small town, called Husum, in the far North of Germany all the way to Los Angeles in California, I was given the amazing opportunity to collaborate with world-renowned musicians, producers, and record in iconic studios, being in one room with Grammy nominees to make music together…musicians and studios who left their marks in history and are part of platinum, gold, and Grammy-winning records and we were making music together: the songs that I have written on my dad’s old guitar. I was stoked out of my mind and truly felt like a kid again. The world of recording studios was my playground. Beyond that, throughout this incredible journey, I’ve had the pleasure and privilege to collaborate with people who made the music I listened to while I was growing up — the creative minds who inspired me to make music with my family and friends when I was young. Their music was the soundtrack to my youth. Having this opportunity is the story I fell in love with. It just blew my mind. I am deeply grateful for this experience and the moments we shared. Gjova

Trips for Piano
Martin Graff is a composer-pianist in Arlington, Virginia. At four, his family inherited an old, anonymous piano, and Martin surged with an uncontainable energy to climb onto the bench and dig his hands into those eight-eight bits of clay, instinctually molding them into little aural landscapes. Crude and square at first; at last, faceted gems after a lifetime of practice, polish, and love. Trips for Piano is the resulting musical vision.
