Mixing Beats/Instrumentals For Music Producers
Here goes that topic again that music producers are very familiar with, mixing. There are so many videos, information, tutorials, PDFs and more across the web on this subject. There are great books out that tackle this subject as well. There tons of methods and ways to approach mixing a beat or song, but I'm going to give my approach on how I mix my beats. *Disclaimer* Even though I will mention that I mix in Reason, which is my main Daw for creating beats, I am going to discuss more of my techniques that are not Daw specific. I try to focus on principles that can carry over to any Daw as opposed to Daw specific approaches. With that being said, let's get into.

How to Write a Song
So you're beginning to feel the creative itch that so many others before us all have felt over the last several millennia. I hear ya. I've been there and understand that all too well. I have had the desire to write songs since I was a young boy and more than once during my childhood I made my attempt and fell flat on my face. But when I revisited the concept during my junior year in high school, I finally started to gain some ground. I wrote countless songs over the next several years, composed a score for a local symphony, and my works have been performed from Washington State to Texas.

BUILDING A FAN BASE AS A MUSIC PRODUCER
There are many things that music producers think about while on their musical journey. Subjects like how to create better beats, how to network, how to mix and record better, etc, are all things that of course will help you in your craft. One thing that goes overlooked as a music producer is how to build a fan-base. The assumption is that if you build your brand big enough, that fans or your tribe will come, which has truth to it, but lets talk more about ways to be more intentional and make it happen.

Every musician could do with a linktree
The basics Linktree is something that more and more people are finding out about and using. Ever-increasing in popularity, not just with musicians but with bloggers, artists and content creators. Linktree effectively allows you to add together a bunch of different links into one handy URL. Want to add your YouTube? No problem. Want to add your Twitter? No problem. Having one link for all your links is extremely helpful. Not to mention that the URL is customizable as well. Which again is pretty useful.
