Apparently, it's not a great time to be Taylor Swift right now. Don't get me wrong; Swift's life is undoubtedly comfortable from a superficial standpoint. She's a multi-million selling singer, with sold out concerts throughout the globe. She's probably quite able, should she desire to do so, to retire at her current ripe old age of 27 and not do anything else for the rest of her life and still maintain a pretty decent lifestyle. Outside of some very high profile romances (and friendships gone bad — we're looking at you, Katy Perry), she's even been able to keep a good deal of her private life relatively private — a rarity considering the pervasiveness of today's media.

OK, so just a few days ago, Sam Smith sang in a karaoke carpool on The Late Late Show with James Corden. I thought it was so cute and sweet that Sam Smith was so starstruck that he died dead when Fifth Harmony got into the car later on and surprised him singing his favorite song, "Work From Home." For any American kid who grew up in the early 2000s, the name Aly & AJ is sure to ring a bell. The two sisters were a musical duo with their own Disney Channel Original Movie, roles in shows like Phil of the Future, and two full albums, including the iconic Potential Breakup Song. Reputation Secret Sessions 13/10/17
I've been a fan of Taylor Swift since I first heard her album Fearless when I was fifteen years old. I was then lucky enough to go to her Speak Now tour when I was seventeen and I have loved her and her music through all her eras: Fearless, Speak Now, Red, and 1989. I've seen her perform live four times and I feel like we've grown up together. Her music has seen me through so many different parts of my life and has definitely helped me get over a few boys.
