ABBA - Voyage
The Introduction I am always wary of bands reforming and players and managers going back to football clubs. Sometimes they need the money, sometimes the fit is right and sometimes it just does not work at all. Roxy Music’s various reincarnations have all worked and Fleetwood Mac rejuvenation with Stevie Nicks and Linsay Buckingham were notable successes.

Nine Artists I Discovered From Twitter, Facebook, Bandcamp And Other Unexpected Sources
Introduction. These are some amazing artists that I have discovered through social media and as support to other artists. They are all amazing musicians and some I have written about before, often on my blogs.

mysoundMusic is Groovin' to these Artist
I love what I do... listening and sharing talented artists, creating and sharing what they love to do. Music itself is one of the more inspiring things in life because it is created using emotion and often performed with the same emotion which triggers emotions in other people and can make people feel a certain way. - theodysseyonline

The Yardbirds Still Blasting Their Classic Rock Guitars
Photo by ultomatt Any mention of the Yardbirds almost immediately turns the conversation to the band’s three trailblazing classic rock guitarists – Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page. Often lost in those five decades’ old riffs, the founder and composer of all those songs must feel somewhat slighted in the way he’s so effortlessly written off the pages of oral history.

A Few of My Favourite Tyneside Bands
Introduction A lot of these bands are no longer with us but all of them were worth seeing when they were performing. A lot are still going as well so all is not lost. A couple such as Bon Jordi, Radge Against The Machine and Benwell Floyd are not included because they are from a decade back and I have not heard of them recently.

Ten Succulent Slices of Little Feat
Introduction I am not sure when I first heard Little Feat, it must have been in the seventies and I did like their music. They had their own brand of Americana similar to The Band or The Grateful Dead and are still going today with some original members.

The Memes Of Ruby And The Mystery Cats
I have only met Caroline Wilkinson once, she was performing at the Cluny 2 playing an Iggy Pop song but she is also Ruby of Ruby and the Mystery Cats, a red hot rockabilly rock and roll combo vaguely located around Tyneside.

Your New Favorite Band From Out Of Left Field
The average person in the Greater Philadelphia Area doesn’t know who The Wayside is. The lucky few that have heard of this four-man musical machine, however, have been treated to an audio experience with an origin story almost as nostalgic as their music.
