Ni Mi Madre.
"Ni Mi Madre' (which has been extended through September 25th) has a lot of good, bad and ugly to it. In one hour we get to know Bete, the mother of writer and solo performer Arturo Luis Soria. In this sixty minutes we get to see the life of a woman who has been through many ups and downs of what life has to offer. She grapples with the secrets that tear her and her son apart, the unbidden memories of her estranged mother and the traditions that keep them apart. The play further explores the intersection of queerness and Latindad; examines to a small degree gender, sexuality. and citizenship. i think the play has more to do with identity: hers and Arturo's as well as past husbands. Although other family members are mentioned, the play lays bare the secrets, memories, fears of raising a family and getting by in her world that is at hand.

The Studio Music
In light of how music lies past any conceivable analysis, it appears to be difficult to dismantle the song. What seems to be natural and unified can't be disassembled to be exposed to a relentless examination. In any case, attempting to get what makes a lovely tune merits attempting, mainly if the music being referred to is the excellent tune Lily Was Here by Candy Dulfer. The song welcomes to be investigated. It is a fantastic combination of the guitar and the saxophone playing. A jazz hit for all occasions causes the crowd to pay attention to it repeatedly to get what there is so grasping and catching.

While songs like "Cool for Cat's", "Up The Junction" and Labelled with Love" were UK top-ten chart hits, they were not commercially successful in the US. "Hourglass", "Tempted" and "Pulling Mussels" faired far better.

Method Writing

So for those who know me know that I am not a stranger to Caribbean music especially from this small island located in South America called Trinidad & Tobago . Trinidad back in early 17th century was known for its beautiful art of music called calypso which people used to express things that were going on in there community. Fast forward now to the early 70'S Soca music was created and only played during Trinidad & Tobago's Carnival festival the art of soca music is more of a happy let go type of vibe.
