Sabrina Carpenter Tops The Charts at #1 on Billboard Artist 100

Top 10 Songs That Spark The Interest of Millions

By Alicia LeneaPublished 4 months ago 3 min read

From Maya Hart on Girl Meets World to number one on Billboard Artist 100, Sabrina Carpenter continues to surprise us! Now, it is up to you to decide what that surprise means, but she continues to spark the world's interest and rise in fame. “Tears” gained traction and became #3 on Billboard Top 100 this week. Manchild stays at the top at #4! It was originally at #1 as of June 21, 25.

Currently, Carpenter has 69.9 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Her current most popular songs on Spotify are as follows:

#1 Manchild

With over 360 million views on Spotify, Manchild ranks number one. Being in a relationship with a man-child means that a lot of things can go wrong. Carpenter shows just how crazy and wrong things can get in her music video with a southern, raunchy spin.

#2 Tears

Viewers be advised, this video should probably come with a 21+ requirement, but it is public for all, so here ya go. “Tears” ranks #2 on Spotify with over 57 million views. This sexual and modern song brings a unique view. Starting out like The Rocky Horror Picture Show and ending with a personal tie to the viewers, this song is one that sparks interest in many.

#3 Espresso

With over 2 Billion Views on Spotify, Espresso is at #3. Do we all remember the Dunkin' commercials?

Even though we may all love to shake that ess, the main point of Espresso is not about shaking a drink. It is quite a bit more sexual than that.

#4 When Did You Get Hot?

Over sexualized and a possible wet dream, "When Did You Get Hot?" takes #4 on Spotify. Thankfully, we only have a lyric video for public consumption.

#5 Nobody’s Son

Nobody's Son has over 34 million views, making it #5 on Spotify. This heartfelt breakup song catches the attention of those who have gone through the same thing. Carpenter takes her experience and lays it out for all to see. It helps people who are going through a similar situation know they are not alone. It is also okay to cry! "Here we go again, crying in bed, what a familiar feeling."

#6 Taste

Watching this to write this review was just. Wow. I can't believe she played on Girl Meets World. Just, wow. Thankfully, this one has a warning before the video. "PARENTAL ADVISORY AND VIEWER WARNING: The following video contains explicit content and depicts graphic violence, which may be offensive to some viewers. Viewer discretion is advised." I think all of her videos should have a warning.

#7 My Man on Willpower

With over 32 million views, My Man on Willpower takes #7 on Spotify. Any woman would want to be the center of attention of her man, and when Carpenter is no longer the center of attention, she realizes something is very wrong.

#8 Please Please Please

Proven over and over again that she is right, "Please, Please, Please" takes #8 with over 1 billion views. She may be right, but it probably isn't right for her to stay by his side.

#9 Sugar Talking

Sugar Talking is #9 with over 30 million views on Spotify. "Your paragraphs mean shit to me. Get your sorry ass to mine." These lyrics show that actions speak louder than words. If all you have are words in a relationship, then they are meaningless and will never be enough.

#10 Go Go Juice

At #10 Go Go Juice has over 29 million views. This song shows that a broken heart can lead to bad decisions and drinking on a Tuesday at 10 am. "I'm just drinking to call someone . Ain't nobody safe when I'm a little bit drunk. Could be John or Larry, gosh, who's to say?"

Those are the top 10 most popular songs on Spotify by our #1 superstar! I know I started this article off being unbiased, but watching each video and writing out a review on each one has left me with one thought
