Los Angeles-based Resilience Entertainment Group, founded by Igor Golubchik in Chicago over 20 years ago, has quietly become one of the most important forces in the world of Eastern European music in North America. What started as a grassroots passion project has evolved into the most credible, experienced, and expansive promotion company focused on bringing Ukrainian and broader Eastern European artists to audiences across the continent.

From the outside, it may seem like just another concert agency. But Resilience is anything but typical. With over two decades of experience and a deep understanding of both the artistic and logistical sides of touring, the company has built a cultural bridge between two worlds. It has become the go-to partner for Ukrainian superstars, Russian rock legends, and emerging voices seeking to connect with the North American diaspora and curious local audiences alike.

Founder Igor Golubchik was born in Odesa and moved to the U.S. at age 14. His early attempts at concert promotion in the late '90s were far from smooth, but the lessons he learned built the foundation for what would become a pioneering venture. Through trial, error, and persistence, Golubchik developed a model for success that balances artistic integrity, political awareness, and operational excellence.

Resilience Entertainment now operates in over two dozen North American cities. From New York to Toronto, Chicago to San Francisco, the company organizes and promotes over 100 shows a year. These are not just any shows—they are immersive experiences that bring together the power of music, national identity, and community.

The company has worked with a stunning list of headline acts. Okean Elzy, arguably Ukraine's most beloved rock band, has consistently drawn thousands to major U.S. venues under Resilience's guidance. Boombox, known for their unique fusion of funk, soul, and Ukrainian lyrics, has also been a mainstay. Monatik, the Ukrainian pop and dance sensation, has completed multiple sold-out North American tours with Resilience. Tina Karol, a symbol of national strength and musical talent, has graced stages from coast to coast, while Kalush Orchestra - winners of Eurovision - brought a wave of cultural energy to their first major North American tour.

But the reach goes far beyond Ukraine. Russian icons like Zemfira, DDT, and Noize MC—artists known for their resistance to authoritarianism and social critique - have also toured under the Resilience banner. Georgian band Mgzavrebi, Belarusian stand-up star Slava Komissarenko, and even TV personalities like Ivan Urgant have found a home with the company, allowing Eastern European culture to flourish even amidst political turbulence.

Importantly, these concerts are more than entertainment. Since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, many of Resilience’s tours have doubled as fundraising missions. In 2022 alone, over $500,000 was raised for Ukrainian relief efforts through ticket sales, merchandise, and direct donations. Another $350,000 followed in 2023. From tactical gear to prosthetics, the proceeds have gone directly to the front lines and to those impacted by war.

This dual-purpose approach - artistic and humanitarian - is what sets Resilience apart. The emotional moments that unfold during concerts, from veterans offering thanks to families sharing memories of home, have turned these shows into spaces of healing and solidarity. For many, attending a Resilience-produced event is not just about music; it is about connection, memory, and purpose.

Behind the scenes, the company’s infrastructure is airtight. Everything from ticketing to travel logistics, artist visas to venue coordination, is handled internally. This operational control ensures that each tour meets the highest standards and that artists can focus solely on their craft.

The result is a company that has become the undisputed leader in its field. No other North American promoter has the depth, consistency, and cultural fluency to operate at this level. And as more artists seek safe, meaningful platforms to share their work abroad, Resilience Entertainment continues to be the first call they make.

Golubchik is not resting on his laurels. Looking ahead, he sees expansion - not just in numbers but in genres, countries, and collaborations. As Eastern Europe’s creative voices grow louder, more urgent, and more diverse, Resilience will be there to carry them across oceans, borders, and cultural divides.

In an age when live performance is as much about connection as it is about sound, Resilience Entertainment has shown what’s possible when you combine passion, precision, and purpose. It’s more than a production company - it’s a cultural movement with staying power.
