Reason First: NBA YoungBoy Goes Off On NLE Choppa In "Zero IQ Freestyle" Diss Track
Will inspiration ever triumph over competition in rap?

YB strikes back. He has issued a semi-diss record in response to NLE’s scathing feud-starting record. He has made it clear to romantic interests, other opps, and yes NLE himself, that he really doesn’t want to fight but is not backing down from a fight.
In the event this feud takes off into further territory, it is interesting that YB chose to retort with a YouTube video of his own.
With far less ambition, clarity, and ingenuity, the “Zero IQ Freestyle” roll out seems extremely conventional, especially when compared to NLE’s bizarre but intriguing references to Tupac and Michael Jackson.
YB at least shows some effort by placing a female in the video among standard shots of money phones and fans. It, still, lacks the sophistication of NLE’s diss video.
To consider the idea of YB being a rapper who has scored records with the most songs occupying space by a rapper on the Billboard charts, he seems lazy and like he doesn’t want to put up a fight.
With lines like, “"'Respond to him,' he ain't never ran nothing down, b***h, I said, 'No,'" it seems like YB is hardly enthusiastic about engaging in verbal warfare with NLE.
For them to go back and forth like this and for the former to not even acknowledge the fight he’s in right now, this presents a lopsided feud.

NLE seems to be more creative and YB seems like more of an operator. It's a classic show horse vs work horse. The distinction ought to play into both of their hands.
With NLE patiently waiting for YB to deliver a full strike, is the Baton Rouge rapper signalling in his title that he is smart not to fully involve himself in the lyrical scuffle?
Either way, this is pure entertainment for their supporters and detractors alike. In the time they could be getting money together and selling out football stadiums, they instead choose to spar.
Competition is healthy but inspiration is wealth. YB and NLE remain committed to the nonsense. What makes it so tragic is that these two creative forces refuse to work with each other. In the way that other genres seek to make money by collaborating and keeping out of hooliganism, the both of them ought to find a way to work around their differences.
YB walks around a kitchen in the video after being pulled up from the ground outside by a light, bright, and damn near white female.
If there is any reason to be found in this area of irrationalism, it is that they both have chosen to attack the lack of intelligence or what the other is promoting in their material in their music.
This is the problem that continues to make hip hop a declining genre. Just after its alleged fiftieth birthday, the thing that’s wrong with rap is the idea that YB and NLE never take in the notion that this dying style of music should be about the money. Sure they flaunt it and have become rich instead of wealthy, but where are the classes to acquire funds and build further income for their audience.
In association with the best within both rap juggernauts, they ought to display the possibility of making deals with billionaires and giving opportunities for individuals to achieve. This spat between them should show their ability to express themselves and allow the wheels of commerce to spin.

If there is in fact a way for them to attain wealth, they should be smart enough to allow for them to end this tiff before it goes any further. The genre depends on it.
