Rap Rot
YB Versus NLE and the Possible End of Rap

Rap is trash. The whole house ought to be gutted out and sold to the highest bidder. The latest feud between Young Boy Never Broke Again and NLE the Great is the vomit coming from the youngest to do it.
With a video that disrespects both Tupac and Michael Jackson, the overbearing sense of having a compass, broken and inoperable has led to this low state.
The reason behind their feud is related ironically to the idea that YB is steering the youth in the wrong direction. Meanwhile, NLE shows no other thoughts other than shooting down opps and snagging young women.
For all of the bluster and rage exhibited by both rappers, the idea is that they lack the power and grace of a Bach, a Coltrane, a Stevie, or even a Jay-Z.
How Billboard has ditched the genre almost completely shows the notion that the impact of young wolves roving through the streets and the soundstages brings the reality to the fore. Drill rap permits the lifeblood to pump through the audio boxes surrounding the scene.
YB has shown that he is serious about his business as NLE is as well. They have similar cadences, similar content, and dissimilar lives. There’s a mentality in the people who trudge through the sludge of a genre that promotes death and disorder and destruction.

Without rules or parameters, there are no clear ideals that can be shown in this feud especially. The “KO” song by NLE speaks of dominating his opponent without ceasing. The power of the microphone may be stronger than the pistols with switches, but people still get laid out on the regular.
There is a thread in the YB and NLE debacle because both warriors in the battle over nonsense. They might be fighters but they never learned the art of war. They stand on the battlefield with plenty of ammunition but no instruction on how to breathe, aim, slack, and shoot.
All of the atrocities that have come from the womb of rap can be attributed to how YB and NLE get it in now. They’re eating off of rap. Both of them are wolves who mate, kill, consume, eliminate, and start the cycle over again.
Just listening to their music paints pictures of blood. They reveal the inner ideas of challenging each other with a specific understanding of nothingness.
What needs to be modified in the formula for rap music is the injection of reason, purpose, and self-esteem.
In reason, emotion can be used as an automatic response rather than a direct function of thinking. Purpose ought to show how rap music can be an expressive and creative form of productiveness. Self-esteem seems to be a stanchion in rap, but it is actually a facade. The machismo, the bravura, the bravado all point to the need for better ways to use cognition.
YB and NLE both may attempt to return the rap music to its perch of representation. They live to spark a dispute that should not only put the final nail in the coffin but just drop the box in the hole, undignified and with cold malice.

Both rappers could spur the music on with the ideas of influencing the listeners. There’s a ninety-year-old white woman in Peoria, Illinois who loves both YB and NLE. Real killers in Wilmington, Delaware aged eight to eighteen of brown and black and white skin hues enjoy the new trends and the latest fashions.
What this quarrel shows is that the two young men don’t have the clue as to lead themselves into better territories. Is this battle even necessary? Like Jay-Z’s mother who inserted herself in the Nas controversy, YB’s mom stepped in to defend her son. Doesn’t that mean that the difference like the genre is over?
