Qui-Gon Jae is a music artist, singer, and entertainer born in San Diego, California. He started his passion for music at the age of 15 and since then has made countlessverses and hooks that continue to captivate the masses.Born with a military father, Jae moved around all over San Diego and North county San Diego which ties into his versatile style and tone. As a kid, Qui-Gon always wrote poems for creative projects at school, realizing his talent fairly early in his life. At his church he participated in the choir which stamped his early love for singing and the performing arts. It was only a matter of time that he would put the passion of writing poetry and his love for performing together.

In high school Jae decided to get serious about making music and along the way has surrounded himself with people who share that same passion for the music grind that does.

Qui-Gon Jae music is a vibe that gives you energy from the moment you press play. His up-tempo style rap with melodic hooks and bridges can be played in any situation and for any mood. 1) You have a really versatile style , how long have you been making music ?

I’ve been making music now for almost 10 years. I made my first record at 16 years old.

2) What can you tell us about your new project ?

My project “Invested” is a project that was three years in the making. Right after I dropped my mixtape “Glory”, I wasn’t in the best creative state at the time and I moved up to Chico, CA to find myself and my sound. Up there I was introduced to different people from all over, and found further inspiration to create again.

After restarting I created and threw away multiple projects and pulled together a collection of really great songs that I feel go amazing together, and that’s what made invested. I titled it that because I was and still am truly invested in this craft and I want my audience to know that.

3) What do you hope the listeners take away ?

I want my audience to have fun while listening to me. I want them to feel like they can accomplish whatever goals they set in their life on their own timeline. No rules. No limitations.

4) What is it about making music , that draws such passion from you :

My passion comes from my need to create and express myself. I couldn’t live a day without listening to some type of music. Music is my outlet when I feel like no one in my world can or wants to hear me. It’s the one thing that people cannot take away from me.

5) What’s your next plan for your music ?

The next move for me is to expand myself and let more people hear me and see me. I’m working on my brand “Break Bread INTL” which includes clothes, music, and community work. Music is the main focus of course so I’m always creating. More music soon!
