Magical Movie Scores

Sometimes, the noise of reality is to much to bear. We often times lose our way in the monotonous ways of a set life style. Changing up the ways just slightly can change our mood significantly. Walking a different way, watching or reading a new genre, or listening to an otherworldly movie score.

There are so many good movie scores out there just waiting to be listened too. Take a moment to slightly alter your habits to break up the monotony and try listening to some magical scores!

Dune

My favorite out of the soundtrack, Paul’s Dream, makes me feel like I too can become the great Paul Atreides. This soundtrack is intense while making you inspired to start a revolution

Any Disney Movie

Literally any movie would suffice! Most of the Disney movies have amazing scores that bring nostalgia back into your mind causing you to drift back to childhood.

Fantastic Beasts Trilogy

A masterpiece in the beginning with the message lost along the way, but the music never disappoints. Harry Potter-esque style music that really makes you want to care for all the magical beasts.

With the newest movies in the theaters and an extremely large budget, these movies really didn’t disappoint with their soundtrack. I usually remember music before anything else and this is one in the memory bank.

The Hobbit

The Lord of the Rings is an amazing trilogy with a soundtrack to boot and The Hobbit is no less the same when it comes to the music. Full of adventure and wanting to do something brave!

Pirates of the Caribbean

I think anyone can pick this music out from a line up. This iconic soundtrack is one for the ages. It makes you want to become a swashbuckling pirate with savvy skills to find the black pearl. With a little bit of leverage, you might find yourself becoming one!

Jurassic Park

We all know and love the theme song of these classic films. When a dinosaur comes on screen we all know the music to follow. It’s dreamy yet mysterious. The feeling one probably would feel entering Jurassic park for the first time. Not leaving of course because dinosaurs will kill you.

Twilight

Despite the cheese these movies give (I love them and they are masterpieces and who says otherwise, there will be words) this franchise gives some of the best music we have heard. Hoa, hoa, hoa season is real and it’s because of the music that these movies have survived.

Inception

Diving into the depths of dream, of a dream, of a dream. Within this soundtrack a dream is where it takes us. Dreams come in all shapes and sizes and so do all soundtracks.

Star Wars

Another score that if anyone heard it they would know exactly what they were about to get. Darth Vader’s song is known by all even if they’ve never seen the movies. Another amazing score soundtrack you could listen to to dive into a world unknown and become a Jedi.

Life of Pi

To be stuck with a tiger on a small boat would be an incredible journey if you survived to tell the tale. Floating in the sea with almost nothing can be daunting. But the calmness of the sea can also take you to magical places. That’s what this soundtrack can do for you when you imagine the life in the ocean and what the beauty of it really means.

Honestly listen to anything with Hans Zimmers’ name on it. You can never go wrong with him as your score guide.
