Enzo x , A Big Music Artist On The Rise
Enzo X , next up

Enzo X is a 19-year-old recording artist from Puerto Rico. He moved to the United States at the age of 11 as his family pursued better opportunities than the ones available in the island. “PR did not really offer my family too many options, and the education system was not getting better, so my mom decided to take me and my sister to the US pursuing a better life” said the artist. After graduating high school, Enzo started to shift his focus into music and business as possible career paths. With a highly anticipated summer for music, there is full commitment from himself and the people around him to have a dominant presence, and with a Spanish debut single on the way, he is set to become one of the brightest bilingual young talents this year. Enzo’s Debut single: “Add It Up” was released April 10th and shows versatility from the artist. Enzo has also released collab projects like “Patek” (feat. SteveOTG & Quiz), and “Killin’ Em” with RA, and has featured in Balenci’s “Caramel” along with Bsleezy. So far, he has shown a lot of versatility in the six projects that have been released up to date, providing a different sound and vibe for every single.
Passion for music has always been there for Enzo X. “Music just has a different feeling, When I wake up, I often start playing music before I do anything else, It’s the best way to start the day.” As a young high school student, his playlist largely consisted of Drake, Bad Bunny, XXXTENTACION, and later on included Travis Scott and Roddy Ricch mainly. He praises these artists as the main group that inspired him to begin his musical journey, and upon closer inspection of the music, small hints of these artists can be heard, as they also influence his style. “If there is one album that changed the way I see music, it has to be “X100PRE” by Bad Bunny. It is a very versatile project with just straight up bangers. I got to see Bad Bunny perform twice on that album’s tour and I think that was a very big catalyst towards my musical aspirations.”
A very big goal for Enzo at the moment is working on an album, which Enzo himself has confirmed will be released by the end of the year and includes features. The album, which will be Enzo’s debut studio album, has very high expectations and is being awaited patiently by his small, but fast-growing fan base. There is no more information released by the artist regarding this project, but the element of surprise is welcome here. Upcoming projects for the summer include at least 4 singles, and Enzo is very eager to work with other up and coming artists through collab projects and features. “The album is going to be a 10/10, I don’t doubt that at all. I’ve been working on the small little details recently, to make sure it is an experience, rather than just 808s and bars. I wake up super exited every morning knowing my album is one day closer.”
With a bright future in Music, Enzo plans to deliver on his promises for 2020, and already has plans for 2021. “Music is on my mind at all times, and I can’t wait to have a real vacation once the album comes out. But even after the album I have a lot more projects planned for the future, and I am trying to set high standards for the best possible outcome.” With mass gatherings like concerts prohibited due to COVID-19, Enzo is looking to take small but important wins over the summer, while also preparing for big performances in the upcoming year. “I’m just really excited, and I can’t wait until my vision is reflected through my music. I have big goals but I plan to reach them all.”
