My Essential Songs: Billie Holiday
If you know me, you would know that my favourite female singer in all of history is Billie Holiday. It's hard today to find people who like her as much as I do and hardly anyone listens to her anymore, it seems. (If you do, then please get in touch—my Twitter handle is @3ftMonster—I would love to love Billie Holiday with you). Anyways, Lady Day is one of the great queens of jazz and one of the greatest singers to ever grace music with their talent.

Playlist: 250 Songs from the 1960s
This is part two of a small series I have done, part one is on the 250 songs of the 1950s. Whether I'm going to give each of these their own part twos is unknown as of yet, but welcome to the 1960s. I'm a big 40s, 50s, and 60s music fan and well, the 1960s were a very special time for a lot of people. For example: My parents were both born in the 1960s. Bob Dylan became a household name in the 1960s. There were also these four guys called John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr that... well, you probably haven't heard of them because they are a small underground band. *Laughs in Beatles*

The Essential Songs: Bob Dylan (Pt. 1)
Bob Dylan, Robert Zimmerman, Elston Gunnn, Boo Wilbury, The Bard, King of Folk, God of Lyricism, whatever you want to call him, he is one of the greatest things to ever happen to music. A modern blend between a Shakespeare/Beethoven icon; Bob Dylan is not just the King of Folk Rock, he is Folk Rock. His songs consist of complex lyrics that people have spent decades, some their entire lives, on trying to decipher.

Playlist: 250 Songs from the 1950s
Now, I love songs from the 1950s and if I were to tell you the truth, I was meant to make this list "100 songs from the 1950s" as that is what it previously said on my handwritten notes. I got a bit carried away and realised that when I reached about 70, I still had so much more to say. I still have so much more to say now and yet, I wanted to keep this article manageable. I may do a "part two" to this playlist, but for no,w I hope you enjoy the first 250 songs that I love that came out between the years 1950 and 1959. This means that people like Bobby Vee, Bob Dylan and some of Joan Baez's music will not be making the list (cries in anger, oh god why). But, you will see some familiar faces I hope and I really do hope with all my heart that you have a lovely time reading my list and listening to my recommended 250 songs.

Music to Listen to in 20BiTeen
As I’m writing this, 2018 ended a few days ago. If you’re a gay little bean, I can definitely understand the pain you must feel knowing that we had to leave behind Twenty-Gay-Teen, but hold to your horses, or should I say unicorns, because 2019 is 2019 but it’s also Twenty-Bi-Teen, and it’s only starting! As a bi girl myself, I enjoyed 20GayTeen a whole lot, I discovered a few queer artists that I couldn’t imagine my life without, and I thought I’d share these discoveries with you all. Though I have two really great boys to mention, I am aware of the lack of male representation. I actually don’t listen to a lot of male artists so including some boys just for the sake of it didn’t feel genuine to me because I truly didn’t have many suggestions. I didn’t feel like doing a bunch of research just for the sake of this article. I wanted it to be as intimate and sincere as possible, if it makes sense.

Five Best Dancing Music Videos of 2018
So—who'd have thunk it? Despite the best efforts of the streaming internet, the humble dance music video made a comeback. In AD 2018. But is it that much of a surprise? Eighteen years into the new millennium and we've yet to produce something that doesn't hark back to the past somehow—be it fashion, music, dance, or opinions. The past, we dig it truly so is it really a surprise that we returned to the synchronised visual movements (new pet term for dance video, FYI) of the days past?
