Quixotic Quarantine
In my lifetime I have witnessed society’s rapid transformation into a more progressive entity. For those of us who choose to go against the grain, acceptance and celebration have replaced age-old traditions of mockery and exile. Now more than ever, individuality is showcased rather than discouraged. With a vast array of differences being brought to light it’s interesting to discover there’s one attribute we all share. Uniting us across every culture and religion around the world is this deeply rooted affinity for music. Even the most isolated tribes have been found to have some form of harmonic expression.

Finding Good Music Under The Radar - Part Three
Social distancing, lockdown quarantine, all are words we knew were there, just didn’t have much chance to experience them directly. Now we do. But another term remains the same - new music that should not be missed. It seems that now, in these hard times is the additional chance to experience it. After all, we have more time to experience it and, of course, those piles of music we are not so familiar with have been getting bigger and bigger. Time to try and slim them down and pick some more good music that otherwise might go completely unnoticed.

Cabin Dance Fever
Q-Tine Playlist: Cabin Dance Fever Remember when you were a kid and you did something you had NOOO business doing? You know, when it would result in an ass-whooping or punishment or BOTH. Depends on the crime committed, right? Four walls now a have an extraordinary and deeper meaning these days. “I’m staying in tonight,” feels like I’m cursing at myself now. But there’s this beautiful thing called music. Music has the power to capture every emotion or feeling with ease. So when your ass has become a permanent fixture between your couch cushions from watching every tv show and film created, its time to take a mental and physical vacation. One of the perfect ways for me to do that is to pull up my Apple Music to bring out the talented kid from London name Tom Misch.

Early 2000s vs. Ms. Rona
I often consider middle/ high school some of the best days of my life. I went to an awesome performing arts school, was friends with everyone, had great style and made the best playlists for everyone's parties. I mean the party literally did not start until I arrived.

Breaking The Glass Wall
My taste in music is all over the place. I’ll listen to pretty much anything (...except country). I’ve got something from practically every genre for every mood. And these days, I've been running the full spectrum of both my favorite music and my emotions.

6Sides
6Sides represents the boxes to which we are currently confined. Four walls, a floor and a ceiling. We’re all stuck in our respective cubes, some in complete solidarity. While the full concept I've come up with is broken into six different playlists in order to fully represent each side of the cube, for the purposes of this article I have made a selection of three songs per side, taking you on a journey through six different moods as you explore each level of your space.

Music to Move You When Your Life is on Pause
What better way to approach this time of staying alone together than a good beat with moving lyrics? Through trial and error to manage the diagnosis of my mental health I learned that music is my way to reconnect to my light. And I need that combination, otherwise it is a pretty face without a soul. I put together this playlist to help me deal with depression and anxiety. Having to travel on public transportation during this time, I have had full panic attacks daily. So, I went to what I know works.
