Be wild. 🐎 Let your horses run🌾🐎.
Heartbeats of the open sky and the pulse of the wild horses. Rhythms.
I was born to be wild, like the horses upon the open prairie, I long to run free. The call of the wild beckons me. My native Indian blood sings to me of home on the open plains of the Savannah (savannah: God is gracious).
In the vast and untamed wilderness of the Great Plains, there once lived a young girl named Ahyana. Born under the endless sky, my spirit was as wild and free as the horses that roamed the open prairies. My heart beat with the rhythm of the land, and my Native heritage connected me deeply to the earth and its ancient songs. 🐎
From an early age, as Ahyana, I felt the call of the wild. The whispers of the wind through the tall grasses, the distant cries of the eagles, and the thundering hooves of wild mustangs. It stirred something deep within me. I spent days exploring the plains, keen eyes taking in every detail, my soul absorbing the beauty and magic of my home.
But that was another lifetime ago. Before I was reborn far away from where my soul and spirit yearns to be.
Grandfather, a wise and respected elder, long ago saw the wild spirit in his granddaughter and nurtured it. He told her stories of their ancestors, who lived in harmony with the land and its creatures. He taught her the ways of their people, passing down the knowledge of survival, respect, and the sacred bond they shared with nature.
One evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon and painted the sky with hues of orange and pink, Ahyana and her grandfather sat by the campfire. The flames danced and crackled, casting flickering shadows on their faces.
"Grandfather," his white dove asked, her voice soft and reverent, "tell me about the call of the wild." She loved his spirit name for her, Cheona, White Dove.
He smiled, his eyes twinkling with the wisdom of many years. "The call of the wild, my dear Ahyana, is the voice of our ancestors and the spirit of the land. It is a reminder of who we are and where we come from. It is the song that sings in our blood, guiding us back to our roots and reminding us of our duty to protect and honor the earth."
Little Dove nodded, feeling the truth of his words resonate within her. As she grew older, the call of the wild became stronger, urging her to embrace her destiny.
One day, while exploring a hidden valley, Ahyana came across a herd of wild horses. Among them was a magnificent stallion with a coat as black as midnight and a spirit that mirrored her own. She named him Koda, meaning "friend" in her native tongue. The bond between them was instant and unbreakable.

With Koda by her side, Ahyana traveled far and wide, following the call of the wild. She helped protect the land and its creatures, fought to preserve her people's traditions, and inspired others to reconnect with nature. Her journey was not without challenges, but her spirit remained unyielding, guided by the wisdom of her ancestors and the sagacity of the open skies.
Years passed, and Ahyana, Guardian of the Plains, reminded them of their sacred connection to the earth. You can find Little Dove in the winds that swept across the open prairies, a wild spirit with the timeless bond between humanity and nature.

In the noise and chaos of the metropolis, amidst towering skyscrapers and the constant hum of city life, Antoni navigated the concrete jungle. Born with a spirit that seemed out of place in this urban labyrinth, she often felt an inexplicable longing in her heart, a call she couldn't quite understand.
Her days were filled with the clamor of the city—rushing commuters, honking cars, and the ceaseless rhythm of modern life. Yet, in the quiet moments, when she stood on her apartment balcony overlooking the sprawling cityscape, she felt a deep connection to something beyond the concrete and steel.
One night, as she lay in her bed, Antoni dreamt of wide-open plains, endless skies, and the sound of galloping horses. She saw herself as Ahyana, a free spirit from a time long past, standing beside a majestic black stallion under a vast, starry sky. The dream was vivid and haunting, and when she awoke, the call of the wild echoed within her soul.

Determined to understand this powerful yearning, Antoni began to explore the city's green spaces—parks and gardens where she could feel a touch of nature. But these small oases were not enough to quell the wild spirit within her. She knew that she needed to venture beyond the city limits to truly find the peace she sought.
One weekend, Antoni packed her belongings and embarked on a journey to the countryside. As she drove away from the skyscrapers and into the open landscapes, she felt a sense of liberation. The farther she traveled, the more her heart lightened. She was finally answering the call that had been singing to her soul.
After hours on the road, Antoni reached a vast, open plain. The sight took her breath away—rolling hills, golden fields, and a horizon that seemed to stretch into infinity. She stepped out of her car, feeling the grass beneath her feet, and took a deep breath of the crisp, clean air. It was as if she had finally come home.
Antoni spent days exploring the plains, reconnecting with the land and its beauty. She found a small herd of wild horses and watched them with awe, their grace and power reminding her of the dreams she had of Ahyana. One evening, as the sun set in a blaze of colors, Antoni approached the herd. To her amazement, a magnificent black stallion, reminiscent of Koda, stood among them.

With a gentle heart and steady hands, Antoni reached out to the stallion. He nuzzled her hand, and in that moment, she felt a profound connection—a bridge between her past life as Ahyana and her present self. The wild spirit of the plains recognized her, and she knew she had found her true calling.
Antoni decided that some time soon, she would love to move to the countryside, living a life that honored her deep connection to nature. She could build a home, embrace the land, and find peace in the rhythms of the wild. The call of the city no longer held sway over her, for she had found her sanctuary under the open skies.
Had Antoni's journey of self-discovery come full circle, guided by the echoes of a past life and the enduring call of the wide open spaces.

I relate to the feeling of having lived this life in another form. The pictures are gorgeous. The images very beautiful. Thank you.
A beautiful journey of self-discovery, connecting past and present through the call of the wild.
This is very beautiful. I love horses, so it's an easy sell, but I love the idea of the city girl trapped away from her authentic setting. Relatable.
I loved the namw Ahyana, it reminded me of Ayanna from a series that Celia wrote. I also loved Cheona. Koda reminded me of our Kodah hehehhehe. And Antoniiiii, you're there too!

This is really cool and insightful. I want Vocal to have a contest/event where we talk about a piece that we wrote, and why we wrote it.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful and rich heritage with us, Antoni. May that journey always bring wonderful answers.
