Always Somebody’s Baby

Songs with baby in the title

By Rasma RaistersPublished 3 years ago 3 min read

Baby is a simple term referring to very small children or infants. Baby is also a loving and endearing term people call their partners, lovers, and even friends. The term can also be used as a slang term to refer to a woman. Many songs have been written with baby in the title. Among these, my favorite is “Baby Blue”. Which is yours?

“Baby Blue” is a song that was recorded by the Welsh rock band Badfinger. It is on their fourth album Straight Up. The song was written by Pete Ham. It was released as a single in the US in 1972. The song became a hit and was featured in the TV series finale of “Breaking Bad”. It charted on the Billboard Pop Singles chart.

“Be My Baby” is a song by American girl group The Ronettes. It came out as a single in 1963. The song was written by Jeff Barry, Ellie Greenwich, and Phil Spector. It became the group’s biggest hit and charted in both the US and the UK. The song has been played on the radio and on TV over 3 million times. It has influenced many artists among them Brian Wilson from the American rock band The Beach Boys who wrote the 1984 hit in response, “Don’t Worry Baby”. The Ronettes recording has been inducted into the United States National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress in 2006.

“Baby the Rain Must Fall” is a song that was written by Elmer Bernstein and Ernie Sheldon. It was recorded by American folk singer Glenn Yarbrough in 1965. The song charted on the Adult Contemporary and Billboard charts. It is the title song from the film of the same name.

“Baby Love” is a song that was recorded by the American female singing group The Supremes. It is on their second album Where Did Our Love Go. The song was written by Motown’s main production team Holland-Dozier-Holland and came out in 1964. It became a number one hit and is listed at number 324 on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

“My Baby Loves Me” is a song that was recorded by the American vocal girl group Martha and The Vandellas. However, none of The Vandellas are featured in this song. Background to the song is sung by Motown’s session group The Adantes and legendary Motown group The Four Tops. The song charted on the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard Hot R&B charts.

“Baby I Need Your Loving” is a song that became a 1964 hit single for the American vocal quartet The Four Tops. It was written and produced by Holland-Dozier-Holland. The song became the group’s first Motown single and their first pop Top 20 hit. It is listed at number 400 on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

“Anybody Seen My Baby?” is a song that was recorded by the English rock band The Rolling Stones. It was released as a single and is on their 1997 album Bridges to Babylon. The song was written by the band’s vocalist Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards. In the music video, American actress Angelina Jolie can be seen as a stripper who leaves mid-performance to wander around NYC.

“Baby It’s You” is a song that was written by Mack David for the lyrics and the music by Burt Bacharach. It was recorded by the American girl group The Shirelles and later by the English rock group The Beatles and became a hit for both groups. The Shirelles released it as a single in 1961 and it is on their album of the same name. The Beatles recorded it in 1963 and it is on their first album Please Please Me.
