3Quency & Soulidified's Tour Kick-Off in Orlando Was a Success!

A review of the Bandemonium Tour's October 30th show at the House of Blues featuring No Lonely Hearts

If there’s one thing Orlando knows, it’s pop groups. When you think back to the biggest boy bands of the ’90s, one name comes to mind—Johnny Wright. From Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC to mentoring two of Netflix’s Building the Band standouts: 3Quency and Soulidified—it’s safe to say Orlando remains a pop haven, with Wright still leading the charge.

Kicking off their Bandemonium Tour at the House of Blues Orlando couldn’t have been more fitting for these two rising groups. Wright himself appeared on stage to introduce another one of his acts, No Lonely Hearts, who opened the show.

With high energy and classic boy band flair—hands to hearts, fists clenched on long notes, and plenty of finger-pointing into the crowd—Dante, Jacob, Joshua, and Arman got fans hyped. Their set included a few One Direction covers and their latest single, “Goodbye Lullaby”.

After the lights dimmed, Backstreet Boy AJ McLean appeared onscreen, apologizing for missing the show while recovering from shoulder surgery, and wishing both groups well. Fans can expect to see him join the tour in Anaheim and Las Vegas.

Moments later, the screen lit up with the name Soulidified, sending the crowd into a frenzy. Shade, Landon, Malik, and Bradley stormed the stage, opening with an unreleased original, “What’s Your Name?”, immediately proving what Shade told me in our recent interview: “The dancing y’all saw from these two [Bradley and Landon] on the show and on that tour—oh, y’all are going to be like, wait, this is actually Soulidified?”

On Building the Band, Bradley and Landon struggled with choreography—but not anymore. Their moves were sharp, their chemistry undeniable, and their emotion connected effortlessly with the audience.

Their set blended covers by Bruno Mars, Usher, and Miguel, plus a touching tribute to One Direction’s “Little Things,” honoring Building the Band mentor Liam Payne’s memory. Each member had a solo moment, and despite Landon’s nerves causing him to momentarily forget the lyrics to Billie Eilish’s “Wildflower”, during his solo—his recovery was smooth and endearing.

Along with “What’s Your Name?” and debut single “One & Only”, Soulidified performed other originals including “Feel the Same”, “MmHm”, and “Love Like This”. For a new band, their set length and polish were impressive—more like a seasoned act than newcomers finding their footing.

When 3Quency took over, they matched that energy with confidence and charisma. Dressed in matching black pleather, Brianna, Nori, and Wennely brought the same bold attitude fans loved on Building the Band, but with even more power. They kicked off with a fiery cover of Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy” before rolling into their originals “Once I Was a Good Girl” and “Telephone”, both teasing what’s to come on their debut album.

Unlike Soulidified’s back-to-back solos, 3Quency spaced theirs out, starting with Wennely’s stunning Spanish performance. Their set blended favorites like “Kill Bill”, “Always Be My Baby”, and “Have Mercy” with originals, including their debut single “Top Down.”

3Quency’s magnetic stage presence and choreography have only grown since the show, and the pure joy on their faces said it all.

If you’ve been missing that chemistry and nostalgic feeling only a great boy band or girl group concert can deliver, grab your tickets to the Bandemonium Tour. You’ll leave with a full heart and a hoarse voice and feeling like a teen again... if you're not one already!
