Marrow Parish Reprise. Content Warning.
A figure, all tendon-twine and burlap sinew, teeters on split stilts of gnarled driftwood; clavicle bent like a hooked lantern pole, shoulders bristling with molted shrapnel. From her open sternum, a lattice of copper filigree unspools—slick with marrow sap, trembling beneath the weight of unseen current—while above her, a crimson pith helmet droops sideways, gnawed through by unseen larvae.

Prohibition Tableau; or, The Cathedrals We Inherit from Barricades
The sign reads DO NOT ENTER; and so it is ignored—ritually, repeatedly—by figures whose limbs articulate in forgotten tenses; their cloaks stitched from ordinances annulled before ink could dry; their faces lacquered in municipal dusk—smiling, perhaps, though only in the way that static smiles at the disused dial.

The Orrery of Salted Veins
Somewhere between the algal bloom of shattered geometry and the cathedral of liquefied quartz, a procession of chromatic carrion shuffled—beaked effigies draped in filaments of ultraviolet tinsel, their sockets brimming with radium milk. Overhead, the sky blistered open like a neglected fruit, exhaling a confetti of polyhedral spores that spun in slow centrifuge, orbiting nothing, heralding no one.

The Orrery of Sundering Glass
Time fractured in the middle of the parlor, its innards spilling into the cobbled air in a slow-motion deliquescence. Gears wheezed as they twisted inside out, unspooling moments long since calcified. A skeletal-grinned clock spun its hands backward, carving rifts in the velvet of reality—each tick-tock a heartbeat in a body too vast to name.
