A species known as the Golden Horned Owl once soared through the skies in a place where lush forests meet dazzling rivers. It was a marvel to behold, with gorgeous plumage and piercing amber eyes. The Golden Horned Owl's survival was threatened, though, because its habitat was transforming quickly.
