The lions roar

Why does the lion roar? What makes them want to be heard so loudly in a world that is already so noisy and full of sounds bustling and competing with each other? Why do they feel the need to roar over everything drowning out the sound of the voices that should be heard, that ought to be heard, that are so desperately fighting to be heard over the mightiest roar, the humble quiet voices that whisper their roars for only the chosen ones to hear their messages of justice and veracity? How will we ever hear it all when only the loud ones are amplified, unjustly given centre stage to spread their messages that do nobody justice but themselves and themselves alone. I shall hear this roar no more for there is no more space for a roar so loud that it leaves no other space for the roars of anymore. To this roar, I say goodbye for it no longer has a home here and as I choose to lend my ears to those whose messages have gone unheard and ignored for far too long, whose reign has never been felt, whose roar has been silenced, muffled, ignored and denied for far too long..... that is the only roar that these ears shall hear.
