Pillow top mattresses are a hybrid form of mattress. They have the support and a structure that is similar to a classic mattress along with an additional layer on top that is made like a thick mattress or pillow topper, which is where they get their name. Usually, the pillow top is two inches thick at least to provide great comfort.
