Digital electronics
Digital electronics is a field of electronics that deals with the design, application, and implementation of digital systems. These systems use discrete, discontinuous signals, such as on/off states, rather than continuous signals like analog electronics. The digital signals are represented by two logic levels, 0 and 1, also known as binary signals. In contrast, analog signals can take on any value within a given range, and the information is encoded in the amplitude, frequency or phase of the signals.
