Memory in Mittens
The first snowfall always tricks me. Every single year. I stand at the window, coffee in hand, staring out at the driveway like a seasoned expert who has learned nothing from experience. That does not look too bad, I tell myself. It looks soft. Innocent. Almost decorative. Snow has a gift for pretending it is light until you meet it with a shovel.

The 1-Minute Revolution
It started with a glass of water. Not a green juice. Not a turmeric latte. Just plain, unglamorous, hydration-forward water. I stumbled out of bed one morning, reached for my phone like a trained squirrel, paused, and instead, gasp, reached for the water bottle on my nightstand. It felt... rebellious.

Between Solitude and Loneliness
It started, as many reflections do, in a quiet moment I wasn’t expecting. I had just wrapped up a long week filled with meetings, decisions, and the kind of multitasking that makes you question whether your brain has tabs like a browser. I found myself sitting by the window that evening, cup of tea in hand, no distractions, just the sound of rain tapping softly against the glass.

Not There Yet?
Sometimes I Feel I Am There, But I Am Not There are moments when I am certain I have arrived. The anticipation builds, the goal seems within reach, and my heart races ahead, convinced that this is it. But just as I stretch out my hand, the thing I longed for dissolves- like a mirage fading in the desert heat. I am left clutching at air, bewildered at how something that felt so real could disappear so easily.

Echoes from a Simpler Time
Dil dhoondta hai phir wahi fursat ke raat din..." (Once more, my heart yearns for those leisurely days) The familiar tune played softly in the background as I leaned against the window, watching the gentle sway of new leaves on the branches outside. Spring had arrived in Boston, draping the town in fresh greens and soft blossoms. The air smelled of renewal - of the earth waking up, of flowers daring to bloom again. Yet, as the breeze carried the scent of rain-soaked soil and the distant hum of birdsong, something inside me stirred.

Under the tree of ideas
The grass beneath me felt cool, a soft contrast to the warmth of the sun dappling through the branches above. I leaned against the sturdy trunk of the tree, stretching my legs across the slight incline of the hill. The breeze carried the faint scent of early spring, fresh earth, budding leaves, the last whispers of winter, and the unmistakable whiff of someone’s overly ambitious picnic nearby.

The Struggle of Change: Even Leaves Take Their Time
As I walked along the trail, I spotted a branch that perfectly summed up my life- half clinging to the past, half diving headfirst into change. Some leaves were still hanging on to their bright summer green, while others had already gone full autumn, flaunting their fiery oranges and reds like they were ready for a seasonal photoshoot. I couldn’t help but relate. Change is weird like that- it never happens all at once. One part of me is still holding on to old habits, while another part is already embracing new challenges (mostly because I have no choice). There’s always that in-between stage, where you’re neither here nor there, just hovering in transition. It’s a strange feeling, standing in the middle of what was and what’s coming next.
