She knew that this meant he was hyper, an overreacting. Diane had been hired three months ago, and then the pandemic hit. It was the first time that she had built up a vacation day, and she was taking it. Yes, she knew the virus was raging, but if she did nothing but ride back and forth on the Q Line up and down Woodward Avenue, she was getting out that darn house.
