Gate Ways
The Cottage In The Woods The winter ground was already covered in the white powder of snow, as Jane and Lewis trudged through its depths. They had been searching for the cottage lost in the woods for months now and they could now make out the soft orange glow of lights through the windows. Their long journey was finally ending, and they craved the warmth the glow promised.

My first encounter with music
Memories Of My Childhood. I remember being four years old, standing at my grandmother’s knees. She was sitting in a chair at the table with a bowl of candy and I desperately wanted a piece. She smiled a warm loving smile and held it out in front of me. I reached up for it and she pulled it back.

The Man From The Shadows
Raleek, carefully lowered himself over the edge until he could safely drop onto the ledge below. Staying pressed against the cliff wall he slowly lowered into a crouch to check which way the kids had gone. The bright full moon was partially covered by black clouds promising more snow and the stars could verily be seen. Below were the swirling masses of thick fog banks that hid everything below it from view. Even the Harpies dared not enter that. Considering what he had seen this far, that was most likely the way Caleb had taken Rabbit. Coming to that conclusion he stood back up and started inching over the slightly declining ledge, getting closer to the fog with every step. He only hoped that the legends of what lived below were just legends because if they weren’t those kids were in far more danger than they were with the Harpies’.

Man From The Shadows
Man From The Shadows Lost “They're coming for her.” The whispers echoed throughout the wolf’s den, where they all slept soundly. Even Wolfme had dozed off in the serenity of the place. Caleb slowly raised his head and listened more carefully. “You must go…...help....... her.” The whispered seemed desperate and he looked around trying to make sense of it. He really didn’t sleep that deeply anymore and it surprised him that his companions and rescuers were.

Man From The Shadows
North Bound Raleek, looked at the female assassin who had raced towards the four children that he had helped get out of the tunnels and then turned his gaze to Olive, who simply shrugged and laid a hand on his shoulder; indicating that they should leave. Not caring to stick around any longer than he had to, he used his cloak to strap the twins to his chest and reached over to take the bags off her slumping shoulders. She was not used to carrying so much weight and he felt kind of bad that she had to carry them for as long as she had.

Man From The Shadows
Man From The Shadows Part III: Friend-enemy “Bastard set the place on fire…,” The man standing in front of Raleek started looking up at the smoke pouring in through the hatch. He was distracted it; was the perfect time for Raleek to attack once Olive was safely behind him. She was smart and took advantage of it herself, so she was safely out of the way in a matter of seconds.

Man From The Shadows
Man From The Shadows Olive cracked open the door of the run down shack that her and her younger sister, Beth, were hiding in. The air was cold and crisp with an eerie fog hanging thick and low over the weed covered cobblestone road that ran passed the rickety old dwelling. There was no sign of the Dark Elves of Evrade that had been pursuing them. There was something more electric about the energy of the night and she narrowed her eyes to try to see beyond the shadows.
