The International Space Station (ISS) is a unique and amazing place. Not only is it a laboratory for scientific research, it is also a home for astronauts who live and work in space. One of the most interesting things about the ISS is the view of the Earth that it provides. The ISS orbits the Earth at an altitude of about 250 miles (400 kilometers), which gives the astronauts an incredible perspective of our planet.
