Favor in The Odds

March is when it all started. I was blessed with the opportunity to start my dream career, as Lead Supervisor of a Lash Studio. I was given the a little black book; which resembled a purse to me being that it had side pockets. I was told to log notes and write down innovative ideas to increase productivity. Also, I was given the company credit card to use as I saw fit; as long as it was used for the advancement of the business. Christine my direct supervisor jokingly said... “Just don’t go spending $3k on it. Run all purchases by me first.” She was someone I admired, so I didn’t have any problem working under her leadership. That next week I hit the ground running. I was eager to prove to myself and everyone I deserved my new role. Days into weeks, turned into months; sales/productivity soared. I had introduced new incentives that would increase Staff morale. Things were looking up. Even the other studios adopted my ideas.
