Many new-to-fitness people get intimidated by pre-workouts. Some are concerned about the ingredients, what happens after they use them, and if they're safe or not.
When you're depressed, even when you're not expending a lot of energy... you don't feel like you have any energy to spare, to begin with.
Recently, I have been experimenting with cold showers when I am feeling down, or need an extra kick. It has been very therapeutic for me.
A little over 10 years ago, I was overweight, had insomnia, and was depressed. With depression, I would sit in bed overthinking things regularly, with myself falling asleep around midnight... and waking up around 3 am.
When you are depressed, sometimes sleep is difficult to come by. I know when I was overweight and depressed, I had insomnia. Oftentimes, I would wake up around 3 am and not be able to go to sleep.

When I first started my fitness journey, I was an overweight and depressed kid. My regular meal was a Big Mac with a Milkshake from McDonald's.
2 months ago, I sat in a Zoom Call with a few investors in a panel. Some of these investors are people who we know that started and exited their own companies.

When I was overweight, I was inactive, depressed, and had insomnia. I would isolate myself from social interaction, which led me down a dark path where I contemplated suicide.
