Some of you may have noticed that the past few episodes of The Walking Dead (whilst thrilling) have been pretty Eugene-lite. Our favourite 80s haircut pioneer has been staying home to play house sitter in the Alexandria Safe Zone. Keeping a low profile, perhaps Eugene was too busy washing his hair to help lead the attack on the Savior compound? I mean, to be so bold with a hairstyle is a risky position to take and one that requires a lot of attention.

Well it looks like the ratings gods are shining on The CW, today announcing that it has renewed a staggering 11 shows. Nerds rejoice, it is a great day for superhero fans as The CW confirms it commitment to the DC comic universe.
