'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' Teases Phantasmic Return For Captain Phasma
Star Wars has a long history with some great characters — although some were not so great *cough* Jar Jar *cough*. When #TheForceAwakens premiered in 2015, we were promised a badass new addition to proceedings in the form of #GwendolineChristie's Captain Phasma. The shiny Stormtrooper was bigged up by #Disney to be some cool Boba Fett homage in The Force Awakens, but sadly, her chrome suit was the only thing about the character that shone. A few crackling lines of lackluster helmet chatter and Phasma was carted off, threatened with becoming a recycled aluminum can in a trash compactor.

Porkture Porn: The Craze Of Children Watching 'Adult' 'Frozen' And 'Peppa Pig' Videos Online
It is easy to plonk your kids down in front of a screen and stick on a cheerful Disney rendition of "Let It Go," however, among the snowmen and cute little stone people, there is a dark world of Elsa and watersports — and I don't mean jet skiing.

We've Peen It All Before: Alexander Skarsgård's NSFW 'Big Little Lies' Scene Breaks The Internet (And His D*ck)
From True Blood to Tarzan, Battleship to Big Little Lies, Alexander Skarsgård is one of Hollywood's hottest actors, both metaphorically and physically. Currently he is showing us more than we might have bargained for as the abusive Perry Wright on David E. Kelley's #BigLittleLies, standing "tall" against the likes of #NicoleKidman and #ReeseWitherspoon.

Where There's A Will There's A Way: Jonathan Nolan Reveals Major 'Westworld' Fan Theory!
There is still an endless wasteland of time until we saddle up for the second season of #HBO's #Westworld, and although the first season is long over, fans are still speculating on what is on the horizon. #ThandieNewton's standout performance as brothel madam Maeve was one of the highlights of the series. We all (nearly) forgot her performance in Mission: Impossible II in favor of merkins and f-words.

Sony Near, Sony Far: 'Deadpool' Writers Reflect On Their Cancelled 'Venom' Script
2017 brought news of a Venom film crashing to Earth in a meteorite of fandom, and it now looks like #Sony is moving full-steam ahead with the plans. Shooting is set to start as early as autumn this year with a 2018 release, so there isn't much time for the symbiote to suit up. The character has been in our lives since the mid-'80s, and has had several scrapped plans for a solo-outings, but it is unknown how much (if any) of the previous ideas scriptwriters Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner will incorporate into the alien anti-hero's next live-action outing.

Should Netflix Prepare To Receive Death Threats Over 'Death Note' Whitewashing?
As the trailer for Adam Wingard's Death Note airs for Netflix, some people are already calling it "the most Netflix thing ever." Unsurprisingly, the western adaptation is already caught in a web of controversy, and #GhostintheShell will likely get off lightly compared the furor that is coming #Netflix's way. The streaming giant isn't exactly towing the line of racial sensitivity at the moment, and Wingard's upcoming #DeathNote looks like it is next in the firing line.

We all know that spiders have eight eyes, but a question everyone has been asking since 2016 Captain America: Civil War is, "Can spiders blink?" Well, apparently not, but if you are part of the #MCU, it looks like they can. #TomHolland's entry into the world of the Avengers came with an updated costume and yep, you remember it, a blinking-eyed #SpiderMan.

Along Came A Spider-Man: Who Should Play Eddie Brock In Sony's 'Venom' Film?
Talk about going from nought to sixty before you can say alien symbiote. The surprise announcement that Sony has scheduled a Venom standalone for 2018 has knocked the #comicbook universe flying. The outer space stranger will be finally getting his much-deserved screentime after a lackluster appearance in Spider-Man 3 back in 2007. Topher Grace's maligned performance was one of the worst in the Spideyverse (and that is saying something), and while all plans for any form of #Venom spin-off were blasted back into space where they belonged following the collapse of the Andrew Garfield era of films.

Heading To The Blood Bank: Showrunners Reveal Most Expensive Death Scene On 'Game Of Thrones'
One thing that the world of Game of Thrones is known for is its expansive, and expensive, land of Westeros. With the average episode costing upward of $6 million, anyone would think that the giant Iron Throne is actually made of gold. With CGI dragons looming across the sky and every week containing some lavish wedding or mass fight, #HBO's glorious epic certainly doesn't skimp on production values.

Dwayne Johnson Is Ready To 'Rock' As A Disabled Veteran In 'Skyscraper'
Is there anything The Rock can't do? As Hollywood's real-life superhero, the wrestler-cum-actor has left his Tooth Fairy days behind to become one of the industry's hottest actors. In between sticking on teeny red shorts for Baywatch, rumbling in the jungle for Jumanji, and suiting up to play villainous Black Adam in the DCEU's Shazam, #DwayneJohnson has still found time to add a few more films to his jam-packed slate.

For those who can't get enough of supersized simians, you are in luck, thanks to Legendary Comics and the world of King Kong. The MonsterVerse kicked into full swing with Gareth Edwards's #Godzilla in 2014, Jordan Vogt-Roberts continued the trend with the recent Kong: Skull Island, while the two will come to a head in 2020 with #GodzillavsKong. For those who were disappointed with #SkullIsland, there is a chance for Legendary to redeem themselves with a four-part graphic series.
