Making A Splash: Director Reveals The Insane 'Deep Blue Sea' Sequel We Nearly Got
Jaws, Sharknado, that episode of Friends with the shark porn, there have been some great finned foes brought to our screens, however, one sticks out as nugget of '90s campness. #DeepBlueSea, Renny Harlin's #scifi #horror, made a splash in mid-1999 and brought #ThomasJane, Saffron Burrows, and #SamuelLJackson fin to face with some super-intelligent sharks. I still stand by the statement that Russell Franklin is one of the best Jackson roles out there, and I would rather wrestle a shark than refute that claim.

Dino-Mite: Colin Trevorrow Confirms Who Will Be The Star Of 'Jurassic World 2'
Jurassic World 2 is throwing its own Throwback Thursday by bringing back one of the dinosaur franchise's original characters. Sadly, it is not Jeff Goldblum, however, we are going back to the start to bring back a fan-favorite monster for #JABayona's upcoming jurassic jaunt. Joining B.D. Wong as the only returning cast member from #StevenSpielberg's 1993 classic, Bayona is currently brushing the teeth of Rexy the T-Rex — that's right, boys and girl, slip on your high heels and start running.

May God Be With Us All: Blumhouse Is Bringing 'The Purge' To Television
You'd better head down to Home Depot and stock up on some tools, batten down the hatches, and stop trusting your Desperate Housewives neighbors, because #ThePurge is coming to a home near you. While we wait for any news on what's going on with the fourth Purge film, fans of the political #horror may soon have something else to quench their bloodlust.

The Walking Dread: Andrew Lincoln Reveals How 'The Walking Dead' Season 8 Will Start
While we have barely stopped singing "Eye of the Tiger" after #TheWalkingDead's Season 7 finale, don't rest on your laurels just yet. The finale placed the pieces on the board for #RobertKirkman's "All Out War Part 2" chapter of his #comicbook epic, so don't expect it to be lemonade on the porch of Alexandria just yet. We may have to wait until October to see grimey Rick Grimes on our screens again, but #AndrewLincoln has teased that the show will soon be picking up its baseball bat once more.

In The Crosshairs: Spider-Man Makes His Hollywood Choice To Play Kraven The Hunter
As the Spideyverse expands and #Sony gears up for its #Venom solo-film, the internet is abuzz about which other #SpiderMan rogues could come crawling out of the Ravencroft Institute and onto our screens. We already know the studios are planning Black Cat and Silver Sable films, but it seems that the current Spider-Man would like to see somebody else join the "hunt."

Slay It Like You Mean It: Sarah Michelle Gellar Reveals Her Least-Favorite 'Buffy' Season
Sharpen your stakes and floss those fangs, because fandom is coming for #BuffytheVampireSlayer's sixth season, and their will be blood! In 2001 #JossWhedon's vampiric vacation was called out for jumping the shark, or in this case, jumping the portal. Coming off the back of the superb Season 5, Joyce's death and Clare Elizabeth Kramer as Glory, some still argue that Season 6 is the worst thing that happened to Buffy.

There is a slightly longer wait until we crew up for #AlienCovenant, however, new footage brings home the #horror and finally shows us a returning face from 2012's #Prometheus.

Russos Assemble: The Russo Brothers Finally Get Their 'Infinity War' Cameo!
While Tony Stark polishes his Iron Man suit and the Guardians of the Galaxy search space for Thanos, the entire #MCU is tooling up as the #RussoBrothers prepare to bring Earth's Mightiest Heroes to our screens in Avengers: Infinity War. With the film becoming a who's who of #superheroes and villains, if you aren't one of #Marvel's actors in Infinity War, you should probably asking why.

Time To Enjoy The Little Things: 'Zombieland 2' Ready To Bring Back The Original Cast
We all remember the rules of surviving Zombieland; whether it be the double tap or working on your cardio, Ruben Fleischer's film had us splitting our sides in the midst of an army of the undead. #Zombieland was heralded as the American Shaun of the Dead and would surely deserve a second outing. However, it seemed like the apocalypse was over when the 2009 film failed to spawn a sequel. For nearly a decade now, we have been talking about whether we will ever see Columbus, Wichita, Little Rock, or Tallahassee again. Now, the film has come crawling out of the rotting grave it fell into with some news on where the hell Zombieland 2 is.

If you can't wait to see gods exhibit their mighty powers on Earth, then you aren't alone, and it looks like Bryan Fuller is back to his artistic ways with the masterfully crafted #AmericanGods. Given the recent release of the trailer, there is only one way to describe it: B-E-A-UTIFUL.

Hasta La Vista, Arnie: Why Now Is The Perfect Time To Bring Back 'The Sarah Connor Chronicles'
Well, it looks like Judgement Day has taken its toll and the robot apocalypse is well and truly upon us. Despite the best laid plans by James Cameron, Jonathan Mostow, McG, and Alan Taylor, the #Terminator franchise has finally powered down after five films and 33 years. The news comes that the reported sequel to Terminator Genisys has found itself on the Skynet scrapheap alongside the titular Terminator #ArnoldSchwarzenegger. Given his recent departure from The New Celebrity Apprentice, at least we know Arnie isn't leaving his role in robotics to continue his reality television aspirations.
