From 'The Avengers' to 'The Town': Things Jeremy Renner Can and Can't Talk about
The Grand Ballroom at Salt Lake Comic Con's Fanx was filled to capacity as the crowd waited for Jeremy Renner to arrive. With a smile and a wave he came on stage and had a presence about him that just drew you in. Asking every person who asked him a question their name and saying hi to them, Jeremy made you feel like you were the only person in the room to him if you spoke to him. His panel was a popular one, and he didn't disappoint.

Jason Isaacs Talks Magic and Fairytales at Salt Lake's Fanx
One of the best panels from Salt Lake's Fan Experience that I had the privilege to attend was Jason Isaacs panel. The man can tell a story, and came out with a strong confidence, even foregoing a regular moderator. He allowed the fans two minutes to get photos but asked that they didn't take anymore, so that we could all live in the moment together and enjoy it

A Few Minutes with Bill Farmer
One of the highlights of going to Salt Lake Comic Con events is seeing the "Twisted Toonz" panel, where voice actors of our favorite childhood cartoons come together and do a script read of a popular movie. Throughout the day, as well, they come together to sign autographs and take pictures. During a busy con day, I was able to catch Bill Farmer, the voice of many great Disney characters but perhaps the most famous being Goofy, and ask him questions about his characters, his experiences with cons and taking over roles from such great legends.

The Grand Ballroom of the Salt Palace was full of screams as members of the famous boy band Backstreet Boys took the stage with their Dead 7 co-star Carrie Keagan. They apologized, explaining that Joey would be late as he had literally just landed and was making his way to the convention hall for the panel.

Quick Minute With Osric Chau and Erica Carroll
Supernatural is the longest running show on the CW with one of the largest fan bases in the world. With parodies, cons dedicated specifically to the show, and a following that is hard to match, getting to have a moment with any of the cast is pretty amazing. During Salt Lake Comic Con's Fan Experience, I was able to have a moment with Erica Carroll (Hannah/Caroline Johnson) and Osric Chau who (Kevin Tran) and get their thoughts on the supernatural and what they like about working within the fandom.

Sony Pictures Underworld: Blood Wars might be the fifth movie in the Underworld franchise, but it was the original movie that contributed a unique spin on vampire mythology. With sun bullets, a war that ranged over centuries, and a manipulation that changed the protagonist's world view forever, it isn't hard to tell why Underworld is still a favorite among fans and Kate Beckinsale's Selene is an iconic pop culture role:

1O years ago, a little film came out starring Amanda Bynes, and up-and-comer Channing Tatum. While it had all the makings of a normal high school comedy, it had a certain twist that seemed hard to pull off. Amanda Bynes was passing herself off as a boy in the film.
