Signs of Trouble or Speed By: Theresa Martineck In the night cast over a man lost in the shadows of the depths of the woods. His crawls shadowing his own fear of what’s in front of him that he cannot hear nor see. The darkened sights which moonlight too dim to help make his way, the inimitable sound of a slight woot owned by a barn owl. To the man’s fearful ears, he hears nothing as the motions around him seem to dim right into his ears. Though there were actual sounds coming from the dark, the man failed to make this connection to the wisest animal in the world, the barn owl.

Sleep Resolution
In the same sense a baby develops comfort towards being swaddled, also, falling into a routine schedule to apprise the parents. While this may seem to want to only benefit those with small children (with an expected routine) there are added benefits to following a sleep adherence lifestyle. Sleep improvement being the top Resolution, bringing on strategies that may be a fair take away of other things New-Years-Resolution related. Training yourself to find a stressless connection to better sleep will lead to connections to better health.

The Fireman's Gold
Annamarie sat sunken into her crescentic shaped seat, quietly observing the events of the day unfold. Her mother, Lorraine driving slowly while on a Bluetooth speaker conversation, discussing the evening plans. Annamarie’s four-year-old birthday celebration was expected to be a small but pleasant gathering of just immediate friends expected to visit. Lorraine channeling to the silence of her daughter, Annamarie sitting listening to her father’s voice through the speaker but not showing signs of emotion. Four-year-old sat, not even disappointed to hear that her father had not arrived home yet while out preparing. With no disappointment in her expression, her father promised a surprise. Lorraine focused on Annamarie’s face through the rearview mirror, glancing fast expecting to hear sadness or something more of her age group. Lorraine pulls into the driveway to start to welcome guests soon to arrive.
