The Beast
Don't consider my kindness as my weakness. The beast in me is sleeping, not dead. (Life Mello) The beast inside of me is never dead. She is only sleeping. It amazes me how others will tell you how you should practice better time management skills and then look at you like you are the one who truly needs to do this when they are the ones who need to do the very thing they are asking you to do. Then they have the nerve to come back and ask you to add another task to help them, which I find funny. You can not come to me and ask me to do something personally for you, and then once you get what you need from me to help you out at that moment, turn around and tell me not to help someone else.

Pay Attention
I paid attention when I didn't get the invite. I paid attention when I didn't get a thank you. I paid attention when I didn't get the apology. I paid attention when a room would go silent when I entered. I paid attention when folks believed lies about me and never asked me. I paid attention when they didn't show up for me. I paid attention when my important life events didn't even get a congratulatory phone call or text. I paid attention to the disrespect, and yes, I took it personally. So now I rarely leave my bubble, my space, and I choose my peace every time. If I make it to an event, I'm invited to consider it an honor. I raised the bar for who has the pleasure to be around MY SPIRIT. Because I have a good one. Done fighting spirits that were created to take me off course. (Pink, P. Victims' Advocate)

Trust
I like people I can trust with my eyes closed and my back turned. (Speak it into Existence) Trust and loyalty will always go hand and hand because, without these two, you have nothing. No matter what relationship you are in now, you must use both for growth to begin with all parties involved.

Humbleness
I am humble enough to know I'm not better than anybody and wise enough to know that I'm different from the rest. Unknown I wanted everyone to see and know this because we all need to be a bit more humble when it comes to life. Now I know that it is not easy being humble, but at the same time, it is one of the best gifts you can give yourself and others, and the best part of being humble is that it is free, and you do not have to pay anything for it. I know that I am humble because I was so used to not having the things I needed and wanted in life that I chose to change my mindset and think of all the things I have.

Don't Break
Don't break a bird's wings and then tell it to fly. Don't break a heart and then tell it to love. Don't break a soul and then tell it to be happy. Patience
Nothing protects the heart like patience. Don't get your hopes up too fast. Don't let your fears speak too loud. Don't give your doubts too much time. Not everybody is built to handle rough times. Can't be surprised when you fall off with certain people. Few people understand what it means to really be there for somebody. And that's the roughest part about being on a journey; you realize the main ones that said they'll ride are the first to fall off. People make promises when the sun shines and make excuses when the storm comes. That's why I am always thankful for the rain…it washes away the unnecessary. You could be unique, genuine, and sincere but still, be overlooked. Because honestly, people don't want something real anymore. They just want reasons to complain and excuses to avoid. Having a good thing is problematic because meeting a strong person is rare. So I've learned to respect when people run from me. I realize my kind of love ain't for everybody. I am at peace with that.
