Ch 2: Into the Night
Inspira looked down at her reflection in the fountain pool. A packed satchel sat by her feet. An oil lamp casted a faint light in the surrounding darkness. “Mother will be extremely alarmed when she discovers my absence in the morning,” she thought to herself. She had left a note on her bedroom dresser so the Queen wouldn’t think she had completely disappeared. It didn’t divulge much, just that she had to go do something really important and would be back as soon as she could. How was she going to tell her mother that she was leaving to save The Light? She barely believed it herself, but something inside her told her she didn’t have much of a choice.

Love You
If I told you that you are a Goddess, how hard would you roll your eyes at me? Some of you are like, “Heck ya, I’m a Goddess!” Yes girl, great! Now, how about those of you who are like "No way, not me, have you seen this hair?" How many of you avoid the mirror when you pass by it, or get ready for the day at record breaking speed because you don’t think you are worthy of the effort? What if I told you that your way of thinking is wrong, and even destructive? Regardless of the description society puts on you, you’re beautiful, and you deserve to give yourself the love you continuously dish out to others.

A young princess snuck past the guards of the castle as she made her way to the Southern Grass. The yard was covered in tall, maze-like hedges that surrounded a large pooled fountain. “Inspira..” A low voice whispered from the dark.

The Little One
I fully believe that we never stop learning important lessons from life. Some come at us pretty hard, and others can be subtle, yet impactful. Every day, the Universe delivers little care packages of opportunity to increase our knowledge and improve our consciousness. As a parent, however, I feel like I am constantly learning something new about life, and about myself. And one evening, while doing the dishes, the Universe decided she was going to deliver a tiny package of hard learning.
