Living with Bipolar Depression
Bipolar disorder (BD), also known as manic-depressive illness, is a brain disorder that causes unusual shifts in mood, energy, activity levels, and the ability to carry out day-to-day tasks. It’s being as happy as can be one second, then crying yourself to sleep the next. It’s feeling everything and absolutely nothing all at once. You get agitated easily, making it complicated to explain your feelings to others. You’re sad.. over little nothings. And happy for seemingly all the wrong reasons. Basically, it’s bullshit.

Why I Regret Dropping Out of High School
High school: the (least) most wonderful time of our lives. Sure, for some, high school is four years full of new friends and retaining knowledge. Yet, for others, it’s a dreadful time full of bullying, complications, and being defined an outcast. My problem: I despised my school and pretty much everyone in it. But I loved to learn. See my predicament? Now throughout high school, I was in fact considered a “popular kid,” but I still got bullied. I wasn’t like everyone else... I was pretty and genuinely a smart girl. Nonetheless, many people absolutely hated my guts, and I had no clue as to why. But that’s not what this article is about.

Emancipation: The fact or process of being set free from legal, social, or political restrictions; liberation. Imagine this. You're 16-years-old in your room after having a heated argument with your parents. I can almost guarantee one of the first thoughts that came to your young mind was, “Man, I wish I could live by myself. I don’t need them.” Am I right? We always jumped to just wanting to move out. Well I’m hear to tell you, it isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
