"Neon Dust"
The city never slept—because it had no reason to. Skyrise, once a coastal metropolis teetering on the brink of ecological collapse, now hovered thirty meters above its decaying roots. Supported by magnetic levitation columns and wrapped in shimmering smart-glass, the city was a marvel of technology, a utopia of precision and control. Roads had become sky-lanes, navigated by whisper-quiet aircars and surveillance drones. The ground below, now known only as "The Underskin," had been long abandoned, left to rot beneath the neon shadow of the future.

“The Jump”
“The Jump” Eight-year-old Milo Carter wasn't like the other kids at school. While they played tag on the dusty playground, Milo sat under the monkey bars with his eyes closed, counting slowly under his breath. When he reached ten, he vanished—just like that—in a shimmer of blue light.

The Lion and the Lamb By [YounasKhan] In a land where the wild ruled with fang and claw, the lion reigned supreme. His name was Aro, and his roar echoed through valleys and across plains, striking fear into every creature that heard it. He was strength. He was king. And he was alone.

One Man, One Dog, One Dream
By [YounasKhan] The sun hadn’t yet touched the horizon when Jebediah Marsh pulled on his weather-worn boots and stepped out into the frostbitten morning. His breath fogged in the chill air as he looked out over the skeletal remains of his farm—fields long gone to weeds, the barn leaning like an old man, and soil cracked with too many seasons of drought.
